Summary: Sony Sonic Serenity
Comment: After using a long list of cd/dvd blank discs, I finally arrived at the Sonys. These are by far the best quality playback discs I have used, and all of them burned with no problems at all........5 Stars from me, I will only use Sony from now on........

Summary: You Can Do It With Sony!
Comment: A CD-R is a Record able disk, which allows you to store masses of data onto a disk. If you have a burner inside your computer or laptop you can use these CD's to store necessary data onto a disk for backup. You can store anything you want, from documents, programs, software, music, mail and even videos. A CD-R can store up to 700MB's of data. If this doesn't satisfy you, you can burn up to 80 minutes of music as a Audio CD instead, whether if it's a mixed album of random songs, or even a proper album or single. Unfortunately a CD-R disk can only be used once. Once data is burnt onto the CD, you cannot erase the data off the CD!

This CD is done by the company Sony. It is just one of a few companies that design these types of burnable CD's. There are no differences between the CD itself. It is just done by a different company!

My Grade For The Pack: 8/10: Enjoyable, Fair-Play, Thumbs Up

My Wish: Sometimes when I finished burning a CD I keep thinking to myself I've just wasted a CD on something that I don't exactly want. So I do wish you have the option of erasing some of the contents off the CD!

Final Comments: The fact is if you use a Computer or a Laptop very often and you tend to save a lot of data on your machine, backing up your data is vital. If you don't backup your data and your computer crashes you will not only loose your computer, you will loose your precious data. So if you have a burner on your Computer or Laptop that allows you to burn CD's and you use your machine frequently, then a pack of CD's is well worth the hassle!

Summary: Printable? I don't think so!
Comment: I bought these because the technical spec of these discs (see above) says they are inkjet printable. Well, I suppose they might be but only if you don't mind having the manufacturer's name and the capacity of the disc incorporated into your artwork!
Have a look at the alternative photo (again, see above) and you'll see they are far from blank. There is no mention at all of the word "printable" on the packaging so my guess is that Amazon's tech spec is wrong so beware. They are probably perfect for recording audio or backups, etc. but don't expect to be able to add a title and description without resorting to the sticky label method. My box is on its way back to Amazon for a refund.

Summary: Probably very good - but NOT printable!
Comment: I chose these CDRs because the technical details say they are printable - but sadly they are not. I'm sure they are perfectly good but they don't fit the Amazon description so back they go!

Summary: Couldn't use with Mac mini
Comment: I use a Mac mini running Tiger and have found it impossible to get these discs to burn. They aren't even recognised when inserted into the disc drive.
