Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Well chuffed! Comment: I've never really been a fan of collecting cds, i think they take up too much space, so I keep all my music in mp3 format. However, i've always had to put up with average sound from average speakers on my laptop. But these speakers make all the difference! The sound is fantastic and the subwoofer is majorly powerful! I also love the fact that you connect the speakers through a standard headphone jack because it means you can connect the speakers directly to your ipod, or into your tv for watching films. And then on top of all that, the speakers are just so pretty :). The aesthetic design of them blows me away... I love how the subwoofer emits a little blue light. The only downside of these speakers is that there isn't an on/off switch, so if you're changing the input source of the speakers, you have to pull them out at the plug which can be a pain. I can't comment on the longevity of the speakers just yet, but my first impressions are that they were well worth the money! Customer Rating: Summary: It's not often I walk into a shop and buy something expensive straight away... Comment: ...but for once I was very impressed with what was offered by the Soundsticks. I was immediately drawn to them by the transparent cases and futuristic look and after asking for a demo of them I was incredibly impressed. I compared them with a couple of other speaker sets in the shop which were more expensive and I did not feel they offered better quality for an extra £10 or £20. And as it was £190 more for the Bose speakers, I went with these. They are currently plugged into my MacBook laptop and are also used on my record player, the adjustable bass is excellent (as I bass player I would say this!) and the sound quality is second to none for the price. I could even say they are better than my Mini Hi-Fi speakers however it all depends on where you have the three satellites in relation to each other and the surface they are placed on. My one gripe with the product is it not having an obvious volume control. I spent half an hour wondering why they sounded so much quieter than in the shop when my Mac was outputting full volume and felt like a complete fool when I finally found it. Comment: My friend owns a photography studio and listens to music all day on these things, the studio is about 10m sq. and the sound quality is amazing, fills the room, excellent bass. This system is a must for those who truly enjoy their music. They are of course great looking and so easy to use! Ordering my own set very soon! Customer Rating: Summary: Flatered by the Product Comment: I bought this product couple of months ago and I was waiting to jusify its function with time duration...but couldnt beat it...! Who ever is thinking to have a good music system in a great price with awesome look, this is a must for them...! I am even thinking to carry it along with me to overseas when I will be leaving for home in India... In one word Folks, Great Product and I am Flatered...! All five stars from me.. Comment: These speakers are great, I've just got them, took them straight out the box and the sound is impeccable; and I'm straight on here saying how good they are! I'm using these speakers for my iBook G4 and all entertainment purposes and they're great. I've tried everything from some computer speech to full orchestral music (with dialogue). Crystal clear sound and Max volume is loud enough for a good sized party lol. Style wise they're exactly the answer for a modern styled home, bright or dark they'll fit, but they're best in a modern home. Not as bulky as I thought, and the cables are easily hidden away. Fantastic purchase for this price (compared to Apple UK store) I'd buy them again any day! More Reviews
