Customer Rating: Summary: Solid stuff Comment: Agree with all that's been said. Chunky but then I know it's protecting the kit well.
Fastener came adrift but spot of Araldite sorted it.
Good case.
Customer Rating: Summary: Exceptional quality case Comment: I bought this flip case for a Palm Tungsten E2 and can't really fault it at all. The design is well thought out and the construction is of high quality using excellent materials. The leather is smooth and supple and the cradle holds the PDA firmly with no chance of it falling out... the unit can be quickly and easily removed though, should you wish to.
It would have been good to have the option of being able to remove the belt clip, but having said that, it is actually very slim despite being good and strong (it's less bulky than the belt clip on my mp3 player!) Having purchased several Belkin extras for my E2, including their Universal Wireless Keyboard, I have found them all to be very well designed and built, using good quality materials and this flip case is no exception. Great piece of kit...I would thoroughly recommend it.
P.S. The image of the closed case (above right) is NOT of this case!
Customer Rating: Summary: Small price to pay if you have belt... Comment: Bought this to protect my Tungsten e (brilliant, essential tool, looking forward to upgrading)pros: *opens and closes easily, clip is small yet robust *palm comes in and out with ease but is held secure *protects screen, leather casing wears well. *good strong belt clip, i stick it on my shopping trolley *belt clip rotates easily yet firmly *can plug in headset while closed and usb/charger without removing palm *headset hole slips over finger for comfortable and secure holding on the move *narrow enough to be comfortable to hold and more secure than palm on its own Cons: *40mm thick (inc belt loop) compared to 12mm of unprotected palmtop *small cracking of leather on the inside with repeated opening. Verdict: I love the smooth metal cases, but this is way more practical for wearing day-to-day, if a little chunky. Palm rules!
