Summary: Promising - but let down
Comment: Recieved the phones - looked and felt really nice. Got them all charged up and ready to use. Here comes the but...

when I hooked them up to the phone line I found that the phones wouldn't recognise the base station for love nor money. Phoned the technical support (who weren't too bad to be honest) but they eventually told me that something was wrong with the set and told me to get a replacement.

Now Im sure Im just one of the unlucky ones - but I found it mightily annoying all the same- hence my rating. Im now going to buy a Panasonic set on the advice of someone else.

Summary: You get what you pay for
Comment: As with all things I suppose you get what you pay for. Unlike the other reviewers I am less than happy with these phones. Firstly the battery life is very low for standby and talk time. Secondly there is no speakerphone on them so if you are 'on hold' to one of our illustrous corporations' customer services departments(!), you have to keep the phone to your ear, which is less than ideal when you are on hold for twenty minutes!! I have given them 2 stars only because of the price

Summary: Good price.
Comment: I have discovered these phones seem to have a life of 2 years before they need replacing irrespective of price therefore I have gone for the budget end this time.

Happy with what they do except for the fact that I have to add numbers to the phonebook in each handset rather than adding to 1 and it communicating the phonebook to the other.

Summary: bt twin phone
Comment: excellent phones no problems in the last year of use...only gripe where do we put the phones when fully charged as the cradle cannot be switched off...maybe that is good idea bt?....mind you most makes of phones have this problem and people tend to overcharge the battery. when you should really discharge nimh batterys before charging them again.

Summary: Cheap crap from BT
Comment: I don't know what's the fuss about the reviews above, but I noticed our BT studio 1100 phone crashed in the settings menu (thus being unable to set it up). Mysteriously on the 21 August our phoneline stopped working, the internet disconnected, all the other phones stopped working, the cordless phone sat there with it's "digital clarity" LED lit up, and the screen blank. Disconnecting the phone fixed the problem of no-phone line. Yet the studio phone just stays with a blank screen everytime you re-insert the battery.
I know where BT can shove their digital clarity ^_^
I think this phone is cheap, basic and chunky.
