Summary: Rumble pad on the MAC OS X 10.4.11
Comment: I had been searching around for a cordless game pad for use with my Mac Book Pro, and couldn't find a MAC specific or rated pad.

I bought the PC/Mac version of the Rumblepad 2, and received a PC version which didn't include Mac drivers.. these were also not available on Logitecs web site !

But it's plug and play.. put the batteries in the pad and the USB device in the laptop and your away, well.. I was.

I've not used it enough to comment on the quality, but a DVI to HDMI cable into your TV and you've got wireless game play from your arm chair onto your main TV.

Summary: good pad
Comment: great wireless pad, the battery length is excellent and it is easily setup, most games are just pick up and play

Summary: as responsive as a drunkard on crack
Comment: I am an extremely dissatisfied customer with the extremely horrible response times of the controller.

Whoever has been reviewing with "great responses", what games are you playing? chess? seriously, this controller cant even serve me in simple fighting games, and you can REALLY feel the lag when playing games like Devil May Cry 3 and King of Fighters.

A game pad is made for gamers, gamers want RESPONSE over everything else.

horrible response, horrible product.

Summary: Good but too chunky!
Comment: This is a decent controller for all the reasons listed below. But for me it is far too cumbersome and heavy to relax and enjoy playing a game. It's not so much the weight which doesn't matter than much but the battery holder bulges out in a very annoying way.

I much prefer the rumblepad 2, even if it is corded which tbh doesn't make that much difference as you still have to plug the usb wireless receiver in for this one.

Summary: impressive
Comment: I have just got this gamepad and on first impressions it seems great. it looks great and feels great!... It feels solid and well made. unlike a nasty cheap gamepad i have which i bought a few years ago. Its quite a heavy gamepad in comparison to others but i like that. The drivers are quick and easy to install. i can't comment on it's actual performance to much as i haven't used it for a great length of time but so far so good.
I disagree with what a previous review says about it not looking as good as it does in pic as i think it looks much better! i'm really happy i chose this one as i had looked at so many online and so many looked not so good. Plus it works ok with Vista.
