Customer Rating: Summary: A great collectors piece Comment: If you are looking for a toy suitable for chil;dren to play with, then this isn't the item for you. If, however, you are looking for a collectable replica of the film version of this famous wand then this is a great buy. Cast in resin (with no mold or casting marks present on the one I bought) and presented in an attractive box, this is a very detailed replica indeed. Or, when spending £25, could I expect a toy like this to be made of wood. Anyway, as you've gathered it is made of plastic, and it is not particularly well finished; you can clearly see the line of the moulding. To be honest it doesn't look very different from the much cheaper one my nephew boutght from Woolworths. However the packaging is excellent and the child who received this loved it. It was delivered just two days later and was packaged so effectively it was one of the most enjoyable gifts I gave this Christmas.
