Customer Rating: Summary: No Screw Holes - NO PROBLEM Comment: What a fantastic piece of kit, I too had the problem with no screw holes, however if your machine is out of warranty for £10 - £15 you can buy a replacement case, 6 screws later it is fixed and working. This has been a real boon to the household, my son now plays his playstation in the lounge but it does not tie up the TV, we have also tried it in the car as it comes with a car power lead as well.
10 out of 10, the best Christmas present this year!
Customer Rating: Summary: Good but be carefull Comment: I own a slimline ps2 so bought this screen after reading the instuction manual which can be found in PDF form on the manafacturers website, it claimed that it will work on all slimline ps2 machines, however my model is scph-77003 and this model does not have the screwholes on the back to mount to monitor onto. I (nearly unwisely) drilled some holes in the back of my playstation which have worked just fine and the screen itself is great if not a bit chunky, but do check to see if your ps2 has the holes on the back first.
Customer Rating: Summary: Joytech ps2 monitor review. Comment: I've owned one of these for the last 2 years and it's a fantastic bit of kit. Without doubt it's the best gaming accessory I've ever purchased allowing me to continue playing when the boss has the unreasonable desire to watch the soaps on tv, I even put my ps2 on an extension lead and carry on gaming in the garden in the evening when the light isn't so strong and you can easily see the screen. Combined with the ps2 the overall size is still small and hardly any bigger than an average hardback book. I also purchased the matching case which holds plenty of games and gear and means it's easy to take to other places and remain protected. One word on the after sales service from Joytech. My original unit developed a fault with the power in socket which was just wear and tear through the use I give it. I contacted them to see if I could take it somewhere to get it repaired but they replaced it free of charge even though it was a good eighteen months old. THAT IS FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Overall a brilliant and essential accessory and I won't consider swapping my ps2 for ps3 unless joytech produce one for it. I know they do one for the 360 but I haven't seen it so shouldn't really comment but if it's half as good it must be worth having.
