Customer Rating: Summary: Handy For Backup Purposes, But Restricted And Too Small Comment: The sole purpose of me buying these Memory Unit's is one word, "Backup". I always backup my saved data because if my consoles die or go out with a bang, I always have something small around me which has the backup data, and it helps me get back into business rather than starting from scratch!
This Memory Unit is for the XBox 360 Console, it's 64MB and it can store any type of data you acquire for backup. Because of it's size though, you are quite limited to what you want to backup as certain retail games have saved data from about 1MB or even more. BioShock alone requires 15MB per saved game. The Orange Box is another game, which requires big data space, 10MB per saved game!
Because of this reason I use the unit for games which are finished and have saved data which needs to be stored on a Memory Unit, as if for example I get the "3 Rings Of Death", my data is safe from all that bad hassle (I'm not looking forward to getting that Ring Of Death). I've also discovered another little ordeal as well. If you own XBox Live on your console and you store backup data on the memory unit, you may not be able to transfer that data onto another console with another player who owns XBox Live. I tried giving my brother my Sonic The Hedgehog 1 data from my XBox 360 to his XBox 360 using the Memory Unit, but the console refused to perform that action!
My Grade For The Device: 7/10: On The Ball, Down-But Not Out, OK
My Wish: I wish the unit were bigger in size and the ability to transfer data from one console to another!
Final Comments: Overall, if you own a few Retail or Arcade Games on the XBox 360 and require a small device for backup purposes, then look no further than this Memory Unit. If you need something bigger though, then I think you need to find another device or get 2 or more of these!

Customer Rating: Summary: What it does Comment: The memory unit stores your gamesaves and ALSO stores your gamer profile. This means you can take it with you to a friend's house. So if you travel a bit or even just play on someone else's console, it's really quick & easy to take your xbox live account with you. It's quick to install. PS - If you're struggling to work out how to transfer your account from the 360 to the memory unit, in the dashboard, go to System, then Memory, then choose Hard drive (if you have one). Click on the profile and the 360 will ask you if you want to move it!
Customer Rating: Summary: Pricing is ridiculous Comment: I don't see how they can get away charging such an amount for only 64MB of memory (only 51MB of which is usable)!
The price is ridiculous, considering for £5 cheaper you can buy a 2GB flash drive. It's just a case of licensing pointlessly pushing the price up so Microsoft can wring more money out of consumers.
Customer Rating: Summary: worth £17.99 Comment: I was forced to buy one of these recently, and so would recommend that all premium console owners buy one.
Basically my xbox hard drive developed a fault, and i was unable to use the console unless the hard drive was detached,so xbox support are sending me a replacement hard drive, but i lost all my save games,so while i wait i had to buy one of these, and i'm going to back up any important game saves on this in the future,as if it happens again with the hard drive,i'll lose all my careers AGAIN.
Do not hesitate,as i have many friends with xboxs' that have also developed faults
Customer Rating: Summary: Good but overpriced Comment: The Hard Drive has so many more advantages i would recommed the HDD over the memory card if u dont have any storage on your XBOX360. Handy for people who play games and different houses alot but otherwise not realy needed. If it was £10 then i think it would be more worth the money
