Customer Rating: Summary: Good but a major problem Comment: This headset does give out better sound quality and voice than the official one (which just suddenly stopped working on me last month) but im wondering if anyone else has this problem, a few days after buying it the mic seems to screw up and the ppl im talking to can hear a loud buzzing/screaching sound so to fix it i had to tap (or hit) the mic, not just once but a lot of times im just wondering if mines faulty or if anyone elses has done this, but if its just mine this is a decent 3rd party headset, cheap too
Customer Rating: Summary: Not reversible - left ear only Comment: The lack of decent headsets for the 360 is astonishing, as is the low quality of the original Microsoft product - I couldn't hear a thing with that headset, so I thought I'd give this one a try. It seems better quality than the MS one, but has one major flaw - it only fits your left ear and is not reversible... If like me you're strongly right-eared, this one isn't for you :(
It's really sad that I've hardly used Live on the 360 just because I can't buy a good enough headset.
Customer Rating: Summary: As good as Microsoft's headset, half the price. Comment: The Xe headset from JOYTECH allows you to talk to other xboxLIVE players, and them to you. It isn't tremendously comfortable, but the sound is clear and acceptable, and the immense pleasure in being able to verbally floor an opponent during online play is amazing. It makes games more enjoyable, and it's great to put a voice to your opponents, and meet new friends online.
So to conclude:
Price: 5*
Comfort:3*
Ease of use:4*
Fun factor:5*
This is an essential piece of online kit, and at Amazon's price, a bargain!
