Customer Rating: Summary: Do not buy this cable! Comment: I had the same problems as the customer below, this cable nearly made me send back a brand new HD monitor because i thought it kept turning off! However, due to the lack off shielding my computer and radio were interfering with it. I have bought the official XBOX cable and is much better!
Customer Rating: Summary: Well it worked for me. Comment: I had no problems with it (using on a Samsung HDTV). Did notice the colour a little less 'bright' when compared to the component but I think the colour looks more natural now (ok I know it cant be natural on a computer generated game) as the colour seemed too much before. Picture noticably sharper.
On the whole its good (better than composite) but not amazing. You do need to make sure you set the xbox video output to match the resolution of your tele/monitor otherwise it looks very bad
Customer Rating: Summary: red and white ends Comment: Erm just a small question really i was thinking of buying one of these cables but apart from the VGA connector where do the red and white cable plug in on a PC monitor , i have a DVI and VGA socket and a audio line in input, will i need an adapter for the white and red part of the cable thanks in advance glenn.
Customer Rating: Summary: No improvement over component cable for LCD TV - don't bother! Comment: I have a Panasonic 32LXD500 LCD TV and experienced a few 'jaggies' with the component cable - particularly in games such as GRAW - so thought I'd try using the VGA input instead.
The picture is clear but the colour is slightly washed-out. Initially, it did appear to have reduced the number of jaggies, but later on in GRAW they returned, and games such as GOW looked poor in comparison to the component.
My advice - stick with the supplied component cable if you have a Panasonic 32LXD500 LCD.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent. Comment: If you don't have a hd tv the best thing to do is to buy one of these and plug it into your pc monitor. I must warn you though, the Xbox 360 can't output a non-widescreen image in a resolution higher than 640x480. This thing gives as good picture as i get on my 38" CRT television on my 19" lcd monitor. I would not reccommend this for a monitor 15"+ unless it's widescreen. In the end i bought a 19" Acer LCD Widescreen for £175 off of amazon and it works perfectly.
