Summary: good toy for dora fans!
Comment: I brought this toy for my daughter for her 3 rd birthday, she is just starting to learn her alphabet and recognise her numbers. I find that the fact that it has Dora on it helps to keep her interested. she does find the mouse a little confusing as she doesn't really understand how it works so she just uses the keyboard for now. Even my friends 4 yr old son likes this toy and will play with it for hours. overall a very worthwhile educational toy.

Summary: FANTASTIC !!
Comment: I Bought this as a Christmas present for my neice. I knew she liked Dora so that was a plus already. When she unwrapped it she screamed her head off because she had wanted it for ages but her parents couldn't afford it. Anyway she was 3 years old and was starting school the next year. Now she is 5 and everytime I see her she speaks to me in Spanish. She says 'Ola' and 'Gracias' She can even say thankyou and Your Welcome. I Reccomend this to all the little kids out there that are aged 3 - 7 years old. The other review about the screen being black and white.. well I ont think it matters. You can still see it and the keyboard is fine because the school my neice ad daughter go to they teach the kids Capital and small letters so anyone could understand it. She takes it everywhere with her so BUY ONE NOW FOR YOUR LITTLE CHEEKY CHIMPS.. They Will Love You Forever If You Do..

Summary: Nice toy but...
Comment: I bought the dora laptop for my two year old. She was very excited about it cause of the idea that it is her own laptop just like mummy's and because she loves dora and the mouse extension is a nice touch BUT there are two disadvantages about it. First the LCD screen is black and white Second the keys have the letters in small not capital letters. When they teach the kids the letters in a preschool it is in its capital letter format so this is confusing for her because she doesn't recognize any of the alphabet in this way. I would strongly advice that you consider WTP Pooh's Picture Computer
it has a colored LCD screen, the letters are in capital format and in order to help the child learn the alphabet and it has 15 double sided activity cards! Its on amazon US website and it is much cheaper than the dora one and its also made by Vtech.

Summary: Dancing Dora Fun Laptop Educational Genius
Comment: My daughter received this as a christmas present as she is a Dora fan she absolutely adores her and while she is now four she plays this and is learning new things everyday it was of exceptional value and my daughter absolutely crazed for it.She has just started school and is learning numbers and her alphabet she loves the games and does not even realise she is learning as dora bounces up and down it is fab and I would highly reccommend it if your daughter loves dora.Bethany has been counting with her laptop and does not realise she was doing this when she was 3 and can easily count to 25 now.She is only recently four.It is fab a must have.
