Customer Rating: Summary: Dissappointing Comment: The phone has been terrible. You just never know if it is going to work or not. The cordless handset is inconsistent and the headset impossible to get clarity on a call. Definitely not a recommended product!
Customer Rating: Summary: No messages on the answering machine Comment: This product looks good, but the answering facility fails frequently. It is inconsistent, when re-booted it works perfectly but there is no knowing for how long. Until someone cannot leave a message you don't know it is not working. I wouldn't touch another with a barge pole.
Customer Rating: Summary: A wonderful system Comment: I have had this system for about 3 months now and it has performed flawlessly. I have even added 2 new remote handsets. The base station looks very good and I paticularly liked the ability to transfer the phonebook on my mobile SIMM directly to the base station via its SIMM slot. The answerphone is also excellent with good audio quality. The dect handsets are particularly nice with a good LCD screen having large easily readable text and backlit with a pleasing blue light. They display the time when 'on the hook' The build quality is excellent and all buttons have a metallic finish, are positive in operation and of a good size.
A great home phone.
Customer Rating: Summary: Looks good - sounds terrible Comment: This phone has proved to be a great disappointment. I needed an answer machine that I could access remotely (as most of these phones do), but it was crucial that I could have clients leave messages while I was on location so I could reply to their requests a quickly as possible. The incoming message recording is absolutely appalling, nine messages out of ten are completely intelligible - and I mean unrecognisable as English speech. I tried everything. For a time I though it may have been electrical interference from my computer and another DECT phone I have on the desk - but removing the phone from these possible sources of interference proved fruitless. The phone would still not record with any semblance of clarity. As I rely on this phone so much for recorded messages, this means it's absolutely worthless to me; I now have to purchase another answer machine/phone and hope this one is better. Great for Amazon (I keep buying phones) expensive for me. Don't buy it if your messages are important.
