Customer Rating: Summary: WOW!!!!! Comment: This is a great dvd player, ordered it 30th June and arrived 2 days later. Easy to setup too. The multi-region is so easy too use. And im now in the middle of watching my fav film from when i was a child (hanzel and gretel) A must buy!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great... for two months Comment: I didn't expect much for the price but hoped for at least a year of use before any problems surfaced.
I've had it two months and now it fails to play the majority of discs (disc jams for 4-5 seconds at a time).
I've tried brand new discs and also used them in other players without any problems so it's definately the machine that's at fault.
You get what you pay for I suppose.
Customer Rating: Summary: A perfect budget buy that is worth more than the money Comment: Reviews on Amazon are the most important function of the website. So I feel compelled to write a little about this cool little DVD player. It does exactly what you need it to do - it is simple, easy to use, possessed of good functionality and looks pretty good. It is compact, sleek and effective. The menus are clear, easy to understand and reasonably intuitive. The picture is excellent and sound quality also very good. I have not had a single problem in the last three months since I bought it. It is easy to connect up and can be out of the box and working in moments. I don't think I know where the manual is and I certainly have not looked at it. Simplicity!
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Machine Comment: Couldn't figure out how to set it up then I remembered to look on the reviews on this page and saw the code thing to set it to multi-regional, since then I have purchased two DVDs from the States which both play fine. I have just re-programmed it as I had to unplug it but I have only done so if I needed to.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great dvd player Comment: I just got this player its great the only thing like a few have said the multi region is difficult to work out so like the person who helped me here is how to do it
I have copied and pasted the instructions (from the other review) below to help others who encounter the same problem I did:
All you have to do is press the setup button, scroll across to the preference menu option (DO NOT press the OK button) and then press the following buttons on your remote: 138931 and a little box will appear asking you what region you want. If you scroll down to 0 and press ok it should play all region discs
