Customer Rating: Summary: wast of money Comment: I was quite happy with my old Panasonic DVD player until it decided to give up the fight. So I thought the Hyundai HPD719 DVD Player would be the answer to my problems. I was wrong, the screen quality was appalling and to top it of I was supplied with the wrong TV connections.
The quality is cheep and nasty, don't by it if you're used to something better.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Player Comment: Bought this for my grand daughter who is six years old and she has so much fun out of it. This keeps her amused for hours wile travelling in the car.
The sound quality is very clear and can easily be heard above the car engine even when not at its maximum. Also the picture is of a high quality with good definition on the screen even for a small machine.
Recommended to buy.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Best Portable DVD player you could get for that value Comment: I had bought two portable dvd players for my daughter and son and they all made me ending up being a grumphy and unhappy customer. One of them is a well known brand player but there is no free region setting so this player became useless with many region 1 DVDs brought from USA and the other developed so many problems, tinny speaker sound and freezing picture etc. This player has solved all the problems, region-free setting from the box, strong stereo sound and excellent picture quality with well defined colors. Divx, Xvid with .avi files have played perfectly so all you need to do is to burn your CDs with avi files stored in your PC. I strongly recommend this player.
Customer Rating: Summary: Returning - again!!! Comment: I have now had 2 of these units, and have had to return them both because they were defective. Will now be asking for a refund and looking for a player by a different manufacturer.
Customer Rating: Summary: very satisfied customer Comment: didnt know anything about portable dvd players and took a chance on this one after reading the reviews.everything came very promptly and all in good working order.can thoroughly recommend this player and havent stopped using it.well worth the price.
