Summary: USB adaptor powers my portable usb drive
Comment: I was looking for a USB car cigarette adaptor that would have a current rating sufficient to power my 160GB Iomega portable (passport size) drive ; these type of drives are usually USB powered only and normally draw a high current than USB devices such as phones, so many of the USB car adaptors I reviewed which had a lower current rating appeared unsuitable, or they had no supplied current rating at all. This one was stated to have a 1A rating and I can confirm it powers up my Iomega drive with no problem.
