Customer Rating: Summary: DEFINATELY WORTH GETTING IF YOUR IN A HOT CLIMATE! Comment: I'm currently living in Cyprus and my first Xbox 360 broke down on me, much to my annoyance, mainly due to the hot, dry and dusty conditions. Since buying this product, I've not had a single problem with my 360. It's pretty quiet, and looks the part too. As it dosen't rely on the 360 for it's power supply, it's totally independent from it and dosen't drain any of the 360's power/performance. I think that it's a good buy. I know my mates in the UK also have bought this and they've not had any problems with it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Does not work Comment: This cooler doesn't work at all. The fans ment to cool down your 360 don't do much, I could bearly feel the wind comming from them and they didnt cool my console down at all. The re-chargeable bateries died after 3 charges and even before that they only lasted about half an hour in my controler! All my discs got scrached inside my Xbox because i had it up vertical (which you need; you can not have your 360 lieing down with it attached) and i got loads of dirty disc messages but now its fine again now i took the stand off. The rubber feet that grip the surface its on made big black marks on my draws, not to mention one of the feet actualy fell off. Its quite ugly aswel, the shade of white doesnt match your Xbox very much, it looks a bit greyer and duller. The plug that supplies the power for the fans and charger gets very hot after about an hour aswel( It draws power from the mains, requiring an extra cable and plug socet). Oh and its also noisy, you cant hear it when your playing a game but you can when watching a DVD. Probably the only good thing is the remote stand!
Trust me, dont buy this, leave your Xbox alone, mine has lasted 2 years with no faults untill i bought this. All those sayings of Xbox's overheating are just from people who play all day and night.
Customer Rating: Summary: Cooler Fan Stand! Comment: I had problems playing GRAW 2 as it was freezing every 10 minutes so MS said I needed to buy a new console but instead I bought this fan and well...ITS WORKED, I can play foe ages without any heat coming from the console and it doesnt make anymore noise than the console does anyway
Customer Rating: Summary: Mine Broke In 3 Weeks Comment: I've Just Noticed My First Review Of This Product Didn't Show Up
Anyway Don't Buy It, Its Noisy, And Breaks On You.
Totally Unreliable Product
Customer Rating: Summary: Made my problem WORSE! Comment: I bought this product because my xbox kept freezing in gameplay and was pumping out really hot air out the back. The charger stand did not help at all and if anything made it worse! Also the xbox is not steady in the stand and the battery charger is less than faulty. So, overall a great buy!
