Summary: Less than Satisfactory
Comment: Bought this so called "Quality" quad pack phone 18 months to replace a cheapy bought off ebay 5 years ago. Looks good, outgoing calls and memory package ok but incoming calls and answerphone facility very inconsistant.

On incoming calls not all bases ring at the same time - some don't ring at all, and when trying to pick up a call from any unit there is a high proportion of call lost.

Answerphone often kicks in before it should and having done so you cannot pick up the call by pressing the answer button on the individual handset. Didn't chuck the cheapy and thinking of going back to it.

Think twice before buying this unit

Summary: A good basic phone
Comment: I have only bought one type of cordless and this was it! I also bought my set from Argos and have had it just over 2.5 years now. The phone has remained in good condition (dispite being dropped many times). It is simple to use and I leave it off the battery charger over night etc and it still has enough battery in the morning. The answer machine and base is simple to use. The backlight was also an important feature for me! It also has an alarm clock. I have only given it 4 stars as the only gripe from me is that they are maybe not the most stylish on the market now!

Summary: Avoid!!!!!!!
Comment: Same problem as everyone else. Good phone until one by one the units died. Nothing seems to fix it. It's absolute rubbish. DO NOT BY THIS PHONE!!!!

Summary: Life Span of 12 Months....
Comment: Purchased this just over 12 Months ago. At first all seemed well.... but now that it's just past it's warranty period, things have started to go seriously wrong. Firstly, the answering machine has packed up. Although switched on, does not pick up calls. Secondly, the handsets only give one ring on incoming calls then stops. Result.... many, many missed calls. Extremely unhappy!

Summary: Will no longer charge
Comment: Simlar to the other reviewer.

Just over 12 months old

4 handsets

0 battery life

0 happiness - apart from the husband who likes the smaller phone bills.

Editorial Reviews:

Making a call with the Philips CD2353 Trio Cordless Phone series is as cool and relaxing as chatting with your best friend. The easy-to-handle handset with keypad & display backlight makes calling comfortable, wherever you are.
