Customer Rating: Summary: Its good but doesn't last Comment: I was very plesaed with the reults I got from the disc cleaner. It made oblivion stop crashing, and it made sega gt 2002 work (I just wanted to test it). But it didn't last long, after about a week they started to crash again, so I had to clean them again. The laser lens cleaner hasn't had much of an effect though, its just a disc with a small peace of circular fluff on one part. The screen savers on it are quite good, but I don't like how the screen goes black every minute as the cycle re-starts.
All in all I suppose I would recommend this, it does what it's ment to do.
Customer Rating: Summary: Xploder Ultimate Care Kit (Xbox 360/PS2/Xbox/DVD) Comment: I bought this product as a last resort. My Xbox 360 was having problems and I was endlessly returning new games to shops for replacements as they did not work. After reading online that it could be fixed simply rather than sending the console away, I looked online for this. When it arrived it was easy to use (just put the disc in and select clean laser) and I decided to give it the ultimate test. My King Kong game that has not worked since I bought it in October. The disc had a scratch running the full circumference, and the game had scripting errors that would not allow me to get past level 4. I used the cloths and polymer cleanser and the game is now working fine.
I was very impressed with the product, and would recommend it to anyone who is having similar problems with their Xbox360.
Customer Rating: Summary: Actually works. At least for me anyway. Comment: I was a bit skeptical when buying this, but it actually turned out to be a really good buy. For example, one of my xbox 360 games was scratched up to the point where I could start it up but when it tried to load anything it would cut out, so pretty badly scratched. Anyway I bought this thinking I may as well give it a go, so when I did I loosely followed the intsructions (as they're backwards on the box) and once finished I found that said game loaded up and played without a hitch. Quick note: This will not work if your disc is excessively scratched, i.e. The disc isn't shiny anymore as I've messed it up so much.
P.S. Only gave it one star for fun as it's not meant to be fun cleaning and mending your scratched up discs. Unless that's the type of thing that floats your boat. In that case, keep...cleaning...?
