Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Value for money Comment: After reading reviews for months to buy a compact camera, I have managed to locate this Samsung NV10. To tell you the truth I am more than happy. And with the price of under £100 it can't be better.
I do filming for weddings etc and get to see hundreds of digital cameras taking shots of Bride and Groom. I haven't seen even one that takes an instant picture soon as the button is pressed. The NV10 does take the shot quite quickly I have to say. Faster than any I have seen.
And that is not the only thing which is impressing. The design is great and feels solid and has a pop up flash when it needs. The other brilliant thing is the touch screen. Actually the screen is not touch operated. It's the buttons that are located at the sides of the screen. They operate on by just touching it. No need to press except for few. I have been playing with it for few days now and loving it.
The picture quality is great, takes picture very fast and looks SEXY.
I have also brought the case to go with the camera. Together they Rock!
I am planning to get another one from Amazon. So that should tell you everything.
I have given it 5 stars as I am totally happy with it in everyway.
Customer Rating: Summary: 3 cameras in a row were faulty Comment: I only wish I had recieved a working camera, however the 1st one I recieved would not charge, the 2nd one had faulty menu buttons, and the 3rd had a faulty screen.
While the 1st one had enough charge in the battery it was amazing, absolutely loved the menu buttons, hence why I kept trying. A shame really, but then for only £100 what can you expect?
I have returned the last camera for a full refund as obviously 3rd time lucky did not occur with this item! Hopefully I can also return the 8gb SD card I bought with it but can no longer use...
Customer Rating: Summary: Bargain Comment: £99.99 for this camera is unbelievable. I'm no expert in this field but it does its job perfectly. Its small enough to fit in your pocket but at the same time is really robust. I like its retro style and other people often comment positively on this when I use it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Boring little camera Comment: Quick review...
Go for a Cannon :D
I bought this camera 6 months ago. Got to use it and really it works well.
My only criticism is the size, the matrix buttons (or whatever it's called) as it could have been replaced with a 4 direction pad...
but worst of all, and you can't see that from these shots, is that when you need the flash it pops out before taking the photo but then you have to close it manually. If you leave it out so you can quickly take the next photo, it won't fit in its case.
trust me, go for a Cannon, that's their domain and they're really good at it.
now if you really insist then... mine is for sale :D
see ya
Customer Rating: Summary: Superb little "go-anywhere" camera Comment: Just the best camera I have used; it has relegated my Fuji S7000 to the bedroom drawer. It fits neatly into a reasonable sized pocket and has a metal case! Haven't read the manual; absolutely no need if you have ever used a digital camera. Results are of the highest quality. Only niggle is why Samsung don't use the same link cable for all their cameras, my daughter has a cheaper model, and the link cable although similar doesnt fit.
