Summary: shame about the ring tone
Comment: Overall a nice phone. Good looking, lightweight and comfortable to use and hold. Functions easy to use and set up.
I like the silence button which is useful since I work nights. (or if I want to ignore the mother-in-law ringing!)
And it is really easy to transfer a call to the other handset if you answer a call and it is for the person at the other end of the house.Or if you want to ring internally to let your teenage son know that tea is ready and you don't want to shout up above his music! (actually we only have a small house so this is us being v lazy but is a nice gimmick)

However 2 big irritations -
1. The ring melodies are really naff, and I now cringe when the phone rings. Stupid polyphonic songs like you get on a mobile. Apart from being awful, I find they are indistinguishable from other sounds in the house eg. TV /stereo. I'm actually hoping this phone breaks so I can get a refund and buy a different one!
2. Secondly, though the phonebook holds 250 numbers, when you allocate a name to a number you are restricted to 12 charaters. So no good if your mates have long names! Eg. you can't write "Gordon Bennet" as one of your contacts, John Smith is ok.

Oh well, if these things aren't important to you, then it is a good phone.
I will just have to get used to Bach symphony when the phone rings!
