Summary: G25 = Great fun...
Comment: I started off with buying a Guillemot RGT Force Feedback Pro Clutch Edition wheel, but I found that after a while the outer wheel started to part company with the centre, even though the overall build quality was very good...

After this happened I treated myself to a G25, and I have to say this wheel is in a league of it's own. The quality is second to none and will no doubt last a very-very long time, I am disabled and unable to use the foot clutch, but I found I can use one of the paddles behind the wheel, you could also set the paddle on the other-side as a throttle as the movement is gradual and smooth...

I'd say, if you can afford it then go for the G25 you will not be disappointed...

Overall marks for the G25 has to be 10/10...

Summary: "ITS GO GO GO"
Comment: This is a pricey bit of kit but well worth it. Leather steering wheel, twin force feedback motors, 3 pedals. it works on pc and ps3 but I have only used it on my ps3 so cant comment on pc use. On F1 on ps3 ,rev the engines and you can feel the revs pulse thru the wheel and go over a rumble strip and you get a directional vibration too. A wheel is a must for anyone who plays online as the competition is fierce.
To sum up:-

1. Fantastic quality

2. Excellent force feedback-altho depends on game being set up for it

3. When gt5 comes out-these will be scarce-buy one

Summary: Best thing to anyone serious about racing simulation
Comment: I've always wanted to have the G25 when I first saw it. Now I finally have it, and enjoying every bit of it. Instead of feel like steering a piece of plastic that jerks when you hit something in the game, the G25 really makes you feel like you are steering a car: logitech had eleminated that annoying friction feeling in a normal force feedback wheel, while improved the force feedback further still, propably due to the bigger housing for the electric motors in G25. PC racing simulators like live for speed really brings out the best of G25. Also, to my very surprise, as I used to play Gran Turismo 4 with Driving Force Pro, I thought GT4 with DFP is the end of story, but even so G25 makes GT4 a better experience - such a pain to do fast multiple turns with DFP but with the smoothness of G25 it became such fun. Oh yes, and the pedals and the shifter as well, not so real as the wheel but nevertheless marvelous and way ahead of anything else on the market. Everything about G25 is so smooth and precise, I think is fair to say Logitech had perfected force feedback steering - at least for the time being.

Summary: brilliant
Comment: When I was looking at the Logitech g25 racing wheel I thought this would be grate but what if it wasn't what if it was the same as everything else, what urged me on was the steering wheel had stainless steel, stainless steel flappy paddles, red boasts buttons, it had a separate bit for the buttons x, circle, triangle etc and the gear shift had options one being sequential or the other being H panel, and last it has stainless steel pedals each having different heaviness the brake harder to push down the throttle medium power and the clutch a soft touch
And did I forget it has three pedals throttle, brake and the clutch.

When I got my Logitech g25 I was amazed!
My opinion you should definitely buy one...........

Summary: Its the G25 - You wont regret it
Comment: The G25 is THE wheel, if you are serious about racing.

From the H pattern gear selector, to the weighted pedals, to the powerfull force feedback effect, this device is superb.
Designed by race gamers for race gamers the G25 will give all you need.

The pedal set, is made with actual real metal. How many other wheel sets give you that. The pedals are on gas damped shocks which are weighted differently, so the brake is much stiffer than the throttle. Excellent.
The leather bound wheel is a joy to use. With up to 900 degrees rotation,it is so precise you wont believe it.
The gear selector can be switched to act as a shifter which is cool.

Its not all ups though. Some games are tricky to set up. GPL, needs third party downloads to work properly for example. Some games, such as Colin Mcrae do not work well with the force feedback (or at least I cant get them to)because the forces need reversing.
You may find the shifter is not weighted enough and feels a little flimsy. Its well made, but the springing could have been stronger. Personally I like it, but some of the drivers in my league do complain.

I use the wheel mostly for GTR2 and GTL. It provides the most immersive feedback system I've ever used, and I used to use the superb microsoft ffb wheel.

If Logitech added a reverse forces option in the profiler I suspect this wheel would work easily with every game. As it is you may find some games will not benifit from the advanced ffb effects, and so I only gave it 4 stars overall.

The G25 is not cheap - but it is worth it.
