Customer Rating: Summary: A good pad for the price, but be careful... Comment: I bought this pad for Christmas, and recommended it to a friend, and it has served me well until now. However I started to get problems with the analogue sticks where a minor movement to the right would be interpreted as if I had pushed the stick as far as it would possibly move. This made any games requiring an analogue stick unplayable as the character would shoot off to the right when I only wanted to make a small movement.
I bought another of these pads before this problem occurred and am going to reserve further judgement until I've tried out this pad for a while.
What I would say though, is that considering the price, while it worked, it was a great pad and comfortable to use. Another advantage is that I have not had any issues connecting more than one of these to a computer. Don't necessarily be put off by my problems as there will always be a faulty controller when this many are produced. However, just take this fact into consideration when purchasing it.
Customer Rating: Summary: A controller for guests to use Comment: I've already got an xbox controller for my laptop but i needed an extra controller so I could play against my mates. The P480 is a good choice cause it functions perfectly, feels a lot like a ps2 controller and if it breaks it isn't such a lose because you didn't have to break the bank for it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not as good as a PS2 controller but ok Comment: Not bad for the price. Shaped identically as a PS2 controller, and works well with vista. Although not exactly to the same quality as a PS2 controller it does do its job just fine. The direcetion pad can be a bit awkward at times, especially playing pro evo, as instead of moving in a straight line you move to an angle untill you readjust. Finally the shoulder buttons work fine but again is not as smooth as a PS2 controller.
Customer Rating: Summary: really Good Comment: works fine with vista. i bought test drive unlimited and san andreas and it works fine with both. but the vibration well??????. test drive unlimited just have to fiddle with the steering sensitivity.
Customer Rating: Summary: Super Saitek Comment: I bought this controller with Lara Croft Tomb Raider Anniversery. When the package came thought to my house I was thinking "oh no with all this installing i'm not gonna be able to use the game and controller until tomorrow". Plugged it strait in my Vista uplaoded the driver instantly and I was playing about half an hour after the delivery (including installing Tomb Raider!!!
