Summary: Waste Of Money
Comment: Basically, previous to this I was using a HDMI to DVI converter for my TV, the problem here was that DVI does not carry sound and therefore I had to buy an audio jack for it. All of this was very cheap and effective but when I saw this product I thought it would be much simpler to buy this, so I purchased it and plugged it in and was simply appaled. It claimed it was on 1080i resolution although it was far worse then the original HDMI to DVI cable. The gameplay experience was awful and I am back to my old cable. The PS3 has a HDMI port for a reason. This product simply can not provide the full HD experience.

Summary: HDMI vs HD component
Comment: I got this a few weeks back because I had a 5.1 surround sound system which I could't use unless I had one of these cables. I was worried about loosing the quality in which the HDMI cables gave me but was willing to take the chance to have surround sound. I'm so glad i did, the picture quality looks exactly the same...and I have good very good eye sight. Everything from music from my hard drive, blu-ray movies and the games now sound and look amazing. SO MUCH better now, just can't wait for Condemned 2 to scare the $hit out of me and GT5 to hear the engines in my back speaker as i pass them. PSN tag - BeIIic add me
