Customer Rating: Summary: Why no volume control?? Comment: I bought this a couple of days after purchasing a PSP3. While it has some great functions and is very user-friendly, there is one MAJOR problem, you have to reach for the TV/DVD control to adjust the volume... Why? Surely the technology (seemingly very simple technology at that) is there to add a simple volume adjuster to this device??
For that reason I would only give this a modest 3 out of 5.
Come on Sony, DO BETTER!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Cannot fault it (apart from one) Comment: A pleasantly robust, strong piece of kit which does everything you would want it to do well. My only (slight) annoyance is that it takes two AA batteries. Rechargable would have been nice but it does take a very long time to use them up.
Also, I challenge anyone to a cage match on call of duty 4 using only the remote which has most of the sixaxis' abilities. My PSN is 'binty'
Customer Rating: Summary: PS3 Blu ray controller Sims Cwmbran Comment: Great item super fast deliver, If you use your PS3 for blu ray this is a must, some one put in their reveiw its not straight out of the box controller you need to set up the bluetooth,Not a problem its easy the same as any other bluetooth device,Hello!!
Thanks again Amazon.
Customer Rating: Summary: PS3 Sony Blu-ray Disc Remote Control Comment: A Bluetooth remote control for the Sony PS3.
Personally, I don't why there has been criticism of the remote being via Bluetooth and that it has to be paired with the console; the fact it doesn't need to be 'pointed' directly at the console means the PS3 can be hidden away and yet remain operable; plus it takes all of one minute to pair up the remote with the PS3.
The remote itself is well built and has the requisite amount of buttons you'd find on most DVD remote controls, in my opinion it certainly doesn't have too many buttons; it also doubles up as an additional controller should the need arise.
The only negative comment I'd make is that it doesn't have a one touch 'off' button to put the console into standby mode.
Nonetheless, I recommend this as a worthwhile purchase for the PS3 and good value for money.
Customer Rating: Summary: Does what it's meant to do! Comment: Great - and pretty much essential kit if you use your PS3 for watching lots of DVD/Blu-Ray discs.
I like the solid, tactile feel to it - matches the PS3's quality nicely.
OK, so it hasn't got a light, and it needs pairing with your PS3 - so what? It's less than 20 quid and does exactly what it's supposed to do!
