Customer Rating: Summary: Read all the reviews Comment: I have recently purchased this item after reading only the first couple reviews, strangely enough I found that the only reviews that Amazon was displaying were the good ones. Now after receiveing the product and having nothing but problems with it I have gone back to Amazon and read all the reviews and strangely enough the rest of the reviews describe exactly the problem that I am having. My advice would be DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Your money would be more wisely spent elsewhere on another product.
Customer Rating: Summary: Looks good, doesn't work Comment: The overall feel is loose. The item just hangs from your ear. The speaker part does not connect snuggly with the earhole and sound is almost inaudible because of this. It irritating and not one of my better purchases
Customer Rating: Summary: Quite Bad Comment: I've never bothered to write a review before but i felt compelled to comment on this. Rubbish!! I connects to the PS3 quickly enough but the on/off button seems to have a mind of its own, it flashes for a minute for no real reason, and nothing happens so you press it again and again nothing happens. It also hurts like hell after a while. This is truely a waste of £30!
Customer Rating: Summary: Its no good Comment: Some ppl seem to have no problems with this at all but most have problems like mine. The headset pairs just fine and connects easily when ur ps3 is on and u turn on the headset it bleeps a couple of times and the bluelight flashes, and then your good to go...well not exactly. In my case it seemed to work fine at first while playing rainbow six vegas but then after one game ended it disconnected. So after turning it back on for the next game it sounded like it was working and then my controller wouldnt work. So the only way i could use the controller is by connecting it via usb charge cable. So now i am left with an unreliable headset wireless connection, but a wired controller. CONCLUSION: unreliable and conflicts badly with other bluetooth devices such as the controllers.
Customer Rating: Summary: You may be lucky Comment: Unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones. I brought this headset and followed the instructions exactly and all seemed fine, paired up no problem. Then the fun started my PS3 kept loosing the signal and the consol froze or started to lag if I turned the headset on or off. After 6 hours of trying to use in a game (RFOM) I managed 2 muffled noises. I checked on Madcatz web site and guess what was one of the main FAQ's, yep you guessed problems with this headset. I have since returned it to the store and had a refund. They guy said they have had quiet a few returned, and recommended any standard bluetooth mobile phone headset. I have heard the Sony Ericsson is as good as any.
If you do purchase one of these just make sure the store will take back and refund if you do have problems.
Good luck
