Summary: However
Comment: I myself have bought this product, tho i paid nearly £30.00 Argos must be selling a different one, as mine is about 3 meters long.
I have never had a problem with this product at all. and runs in 1080p no problems, and the sound is in full surround 5.1.

my advice is you want the best then pay the best money, around £200.00

Summary: This product is rubbish
Comment: I bought this for £14.99 from argos and it didn't work. it feels tacky, it looks rubbish and is about 30cm long - avoid this!!

Summary: absolutley abysmal
Comment: never in my life have i purchased such a mess of an item. Having plugged it into my PS3 upon arrival i was confronted with a blank screen, eventually got it to work with some 'wiggling' about but then it would not display 1080p (which is exactly what i bought it for). Being a lazy person i did not send it back and contented myself with 1080i... big mistake. Only two weeks later i was having to wiggle the socket end to get it to display my PS3 on my television every single time i switched my PS3 on. Eventually it stopped working all together and i was just outside the 30 day amazon returns policy. I have no issue with not being able to return it now as that was my own lazy fault, but i do have a problem with the blatant lies this product espouses. If you want to play at 1080p please please please buy another cable, if you want a HDMI cable that lasts more than 4 weeks please buy another cable. I am personally ashamed to have fallen into its trap.

Summary: Doesn't support 1080p
Comment: I bought this to connect my ps3 to my Sharp Aquos 1080p tv. However when i tried to select the 1080p resolution in the playstation menu it wouldn't show on the screen, the highest available resolution was 1080i. I tried with a cable from a different company to check it wasn't a problem with the ps3 or my tv and it displayed 1080p fine, meaning the problem was with the cable.
