Summary: Cool Toy !!!
Comment: Despite all of the negative reviews given here , I only have a few things to say
let be honest you are getting what you pay for :o) it is indeed a flimsy polestirine toy but saying that it's probably very suitable for it, as it is light and durable (I've crashed mine heaps and it is still going) as for flying it if you trim the controls and use the weights right under the nose then this helecopter becomes very easy to control!! I honestly can't understand why so many people are unable to control this lol (I'm landing mine on work tops arm chairs and soon I have no doubt on the tv)
So all in all great toy for the price but indeed flimsy as well as for the charging plug ect. you need very small hands (I switch mine off using a mini screw driver lol)
Ben (happy customer who owns2 of these)

Summary: Very disappointing
Comment: This is the cheapest, tackiest and worst quality thing ever. I would give it a minus rating if I could. I have returned it to Amazon today and am expecting a refund. Don't waste your money on this - it doesn't work. I bought it as a 'santa' gift for my 7 year old. We followed the instructions to set it up, but the most it would ever do is skid around the floor. It never even lifted off the ground - in my view it is too heavy. Even so, you have to push the throttle control to its max to get any response. After a few seconds, it sort of tips over on its side, at which point it ceases to respond to the remote control unit and you have to switch it off and on again. The remote control unit feels cheap and tacky, and the tiny plug that plugs into the helicopter to charge it feels very flimsy indeed, especially at the point where it plugs into the helicopter. I was very disappointed, as some of the reviews I read before Christmas encouraged me to believe it would be good. I would have preferred to pay more for something that works properly.

Summary: Fun for about an hour
Comment: Lets face it, you get what you pay for! This is fun, for a while, but do not expect Tonka toy build quality. Light polystyrene and flimsy plastic make up the helicopter which, after its banged off a few ceilings and walls (and it will!!), will start to fall to pieces.

The biggest problem with this model is, however, that it is almost impossible to control. Up and down (with a featherlight touch) are fine and you can stop it spinning with a little practice. However, if you manage to get it to fly meaningfully in your chosen direction around your room, then you're a better pilot than me!!

Fun in the same way as cracker novelties are, but expect it to end up in the box or the bin by the time the month is out!

Summary: Good fun but needs careful handling
Comment: My daughter (10) received this as a christmas present. Within the first day the rotor had broken, albeit a spare one was included.

It is difficult to control the direction which means it bangs into most things, resulting in it looking much older than a day or two.

Unfortnately, due to this, it is often landing on the floor, resulting in it being stood on and broken.

Its a shame as it only lasted 2 days and she is devastated. But fun while it lasted. Not sure I would buy it again for anyone who had any nature of clumsiness.

Summary: Even a novice can use it
Comment: I received this Picoo Helicopter for Christmas (having dropped afew unsubtle hints). I am delighted with it. Following the initial charge up, I was able to fly the 'copter and was quickly able to control it.
The charge up time is quite quick (about half an hour or less).
You do need to be quite gentle with the controls, but even a crash landing doesn't cause a problem.
