Summary: Bought with a Sony KDL32D3000U
Comment: Fantastic products and results. I have owned Sony TV's before they have always been at the cutting edge of technology. I have never owned a Home Theatre System before. I spent some weeks doing research before I bit the bullet and shopping around saved hundreds of pounds however Amazon was comparable to the cheapest prices available.
The first film watched was a remastered Lawrence of Arabia, because I knew both sound and vision would be used to the maximum, I was not disappointed.
My advice, if you are waiting for a clue to buy a decent package then look no further than these, you will not be disappointed

Summary: Great bit of Kit
Comment: I can only agree with the other reviewers that this is a great product (and a great price). Having toyed with the idea of getting the DAVIS10 I finally went for this one due to the wireless speakers and cheaper price tag. Sure the rear speakers are not completely wireless but they need power and most people have a socket on the other side of the room where these would be placed. The sound output is fantastic and completely transforms the viewing experience. It also up-scales the picture from DVD quality to somewhere in between that and HD quality. Certain films/lighting conditions etc lend themsleves more to this process than others but on the whole it is better than standard DVD.

The unit does come in a big box as mentioned in other reviews and this is why the delivery gets delayed. Mine was on hold for a couple of days until a 2 man delivery team became available. It's not that heavy but the size makes it awkward and it does require 2 people to carry it. I ordered on the Friday night and it arrived the following Wednesday so not too bad. HDNL phoned to arrange delivery window and followed up after delivery with a call to check all was ok. This may have been a random quality check?

It was straightforward to put together - just takes a while and the auto calibration was superb. I had to change a few settings to sync the sound to the picture but this was also easy and covered in the manual (should have been switched on by default in my opinion though). The wireless connected straight away and is very robust - not easily disrupted like I imagined it would be. You can also swap the LH & RH surround speakers by changing a setting (as I did) to move the powered speaker nearer a wall socket and send the wireless signal along the side of the room where there is less chance of interruption. My only criticism would be that some settings are changed on screen and some on the unit display. Bit strange this and the manual was not 100% clear on operating the unit display (or was that me???). I eventually worked it out by accident and now I know it's not a problem. The speakers have large diameter bases which may be a problem for people with small rooms. If you have the space though they do look great!

Overall I recommend this product to anyone looking for a good quality "out of the box" set up.

Summary: Good Product, Pitty about amazons courier (HDNL)
Comment: Finally got this product today. Took a few hours to setup (but that included removing all the old equipment). At first I did think... OMG the speakers are so large... but now they are in place the setup looks good. Rear speakers as mentioned in other reviews are not fully wireless. Left speaker is powered and right is connected via a lead to the left. Wireless is however optional, and the required leads being supplied if you want to go with the wire.

A great bit of kit to go with your Sony TV.

My only disapointment has been with Amazon's courier. I ordered on the 6th January, payments cleared on 7th. I selected 1st class delivery. The HDMI cable I ordered arrived on the 9th, the TV ordered through Marketplace at the same time arrived on the 10th. This bit of kit however arrived today - the 15th Jan.

In all Fairness to Amazon, they dispatched this on the 8th January. Their courier Home Delivery Network took from the 8th to 15th to deliver it to me... box was open on delivery and was damp and damaged. If you order this - try and get them to send it via another courier. I was ready to cancel the order if it didnt arrive today as it was with them for so long.

Summary: CANT HEAR THE WIFE NOW--ITS-GREAT
Comment: WOW What a fantastic piece of kit--Came with full English instructions. Not totally wireless as I expected rear surround sound speakers are joined by a single speaker wire and has its own power supply. The first film I tested was Star Wars(first one from the late 70s)The whole room vibrated when up high (but not full power) the wife came in 'turn that down' It was bliss couldnt hear a word she said until she turned down.Easy to set up the wires are colour coded instructions are ok to follow. My year old 10 son loves it.Would recommend it

Summary: Fantastic product
Comment: Fantastic product! Would definitely recommend it. Assembly was simple (colour coded wires, picture diagrams etc.). The quality is superb, you can feel the vibrations of the sound. Although my rating is showing as 1 star (can't work out how to change the rating) I do not hesitate giving it 5 stars
