Customer Rating: Summary: rip off Comment: i bought this cooling fan in jan and only 3months later its broken. when it did work it didn't really lower the temperature of my ps3. it's poorly built and makes too much noise. not vaule for money.
Customer Rating: Summary: a good item Comment: it makes a good stand for the ps3 and now makes the power putton on the front of my ps3 rather than on the back which i prefer, the little cable does reach the usb slot(but just the top one, which is fine)it fits perfectly and doesnt slide off.it does keep my ps3 cool but it just doesnt get rid of that load roaring noise it makes when it sounds like the fans are starting up or something.overall im very happy with this item...p.s..i have the 40gb version
Customer Rating: Summary: ? Comment: Bought this item awhile ago hopefully to cool my ps3 but it didnt at all i do have a 60gig had it laying down with the fan on didnt cool it at all also tried it standing up no differce's (the fan was also on full power!) but i did notice that if your ps3 is standing up it it is a little bit cooler (with out the fan!). Lots of people say this item works? How? Think its a waste of time this item!
Customer Rating: Summary: Ok, just not for me Comment: So first, it does fit on the 40GB PS3, its just a bit tight! tip - plug in the USB cable first, then try attaching it to the top.
The stand part is great, fits well and is very stable.
I have a very hot flat, so hoped the fan would cool the PS3 enough so that the fans dont kick in too much. Unfortunately this was not the case - but I guess this is due to the temperature of my flat and not the fan's fault!
Customer Rating: Summary: Very very unreliable - twice Comment: Bought one of these several months ago after reading the good reviews on here for it. All seemed wel until after 2 months the fans stopped rotating. So, I put that down to bad luck and decide to order another one. Well this time it has lasted 2 weeks and the fans dont work on the new one I bought. What can I say, extremely unreliable .. I wont be coming back to buy a third one.
