Customer Rating: Summary: Great Phone Comment: This phone is the best i've ever had. ive had nokia's, samsung's, the lot and this is by far the best. if you are thinking about it, i would definitley say buy it/ :-)
Customer Rating: Summary: Mp3 + Phone = Sony Ericsson W850i Comment: I was after a phone aswell as a really good mp3, so i thought i found the perfect thing when i saw the Sony Ericsson W850i, so straight away, without a doubt i asked for this phone for christmas..
When i opened it i was really happy, i found the amazing phone! Soon as i opened it out of its box, i started playing with it, it was amazing, compact, smart, sleek and amazing memory!
Weeks later, i had stored over 100 songs on it, and it had amazing sound and volume, just what i was after!
I would show off this phone to my mates, blagging their head that i had an amazing phone and walkman in one, i could tell they was jealous ;)
7 Months on, my phone is still in great condition, with only one dent from dropping it, but saying that, i have dropped it about 100 times and only got one little dent!!
I would totally recommend this phone, as it has everything you need, definately worth the price.
But i will never buy another phone that is not a Sony Ericsson, as the walkman feature is just totally amazing!!
Recommended to anyone!!
Hope this helps x
Customer Rating: Summary: One of the best all round phones from Sonyericsson Comment: This is my 3rd Walkman phone, which started with the original W700i. The W850I is extremely well made and sturdy. The slider works well and keys are a very good size, which makes texting very easy. Sound from the Walkman is great and the phone is also recognised using the USB with a Mac if you want to transfer music or photos, where as some Sonyericsson phones are not (the new W890i). The contacts phone book is also compatible with Outlook and easy to download via bluetooth with Mac or PC. It is so easy to use in every aspect that I bought one for my girlfriend, who always moans about usability of past phones, but loves this one. The fact this is still around and just as expensive over a year later, says it all.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good solid reliable phone Comment: I've had mine for well over a year now and it is still going strong. Very good camera - photos good enough quality to transfer onto my computer (I use Bluetooth) and print out. It's got a large range of picture editing functions too, which are really useful.
I don't use the walkman or radio that much but when I have done the sound quality has been really good. The phone is pretty strong too - I've accidentally dropped mine on hard surfaces so many times (!) and it's fine - the case and screen don't even scratch easily.
It has a nice slide function, although it does annoy me that sliding it shut doesn't cut off your call when you're finished talking. Battery power ok - I normally have to charge it every 2 or 3 days but I do use it a lot and it never gets turned off!
I also use the games sometimes too and if you were ever a tetris fan, then you'll like the game 'QuadraPop'.
All round a very good and reliable phone with large range of functions.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Fine Piece of Kit Comment: I bought this when I started travelling on a bus for 2 hours each day to and from work. I wanted to combine a phone with a walkman as I kept missing calls while listening to music, and looked into the various options.
This phone has many features, including an excellent radio, internet access, and a good camera. The computer software for adding music from CDs is user friendly, and you can also transfer photos and videos from the phone to your computer with relative ease.
The unit is far more stylish than it looks in the picture, and the keys are a good size. The walkman sound and headphones are of a high quality.
I cannot think of anything it does not have that you would expect. Should the memory card not be enough, it is easily upgradeable at extra cost. But personally I think the 1GB capacity is quite enough (and I listen to a lot of music).
