Customer Rating: Summary: Need modifying Comment: Used them at a festival to avoid trip to the loo in the middle of the night. First night after a heavy session I used one and managed to overflow (they hold 800ml). Some might say thats a lot of juice but when you go to these things you tend to drink quite a bit. Hence I p"ssed all over my pj's and sleeping bag and felt a bit of a tool. Just save yourself the money and buy a bucket. Yours, not impressed but had a good time at the V Festival - Liz.
Customer Rating: Summary: Travel John. Looks odd, works great. Comment: This is a great addition to any camping trip or festival.
I had never been to a festival until last weekend. For many years I have been trying to coming to terms with the emotional scarring received from a week long camping trip at the age of 11, where it rained all week and I couldn't find the door to the tent in the night to go out for a wee! A most distressing event, both for myself and my two sisters who were sharing the tent with me!!....May I use this oportunity to apologise publically to them. Sorry guys.
I saw Travel John advertised, and so ordered it, not without reservation. On it's arrival I could see little to assure me of it's effectiveness. However this weekend, in the pouring rain, it proved invaluable. Such a relief, (so to speak), not to have to leave the tent in the dead of night. They hold 800 ml, which sound a lot but if you're sharing a tent with a beer monster like I was, it's best to have 5 bags per 3 night away. Highly recommended.
Customer Rating: Summary: Any one can use this Comment: Me - a girl love it. Husband - after scoffing at it when the box arrived - too lazy to go outside tent in thunder & lightning - used it! Husband used it when in traffic jams. *sigh* I bought it for myself but am not getting much of a look in.
Geography trips with teenage girls who are very anxious about going to yucky toilets so in danger of dehydrating as they wont drink - a relief saver.
Girls you absolutely have to 'fit' it snugly so no leaking occurs. In the tent use in kneeling position works. Put a towel on floor if you are anxious about overflow (c below)
Buy as many as you can afford.
