Customer Rating: Summary: Al-100 Comment: When my Son read about this product,he thought that he would buy one even though the reviews were saying it's rubbish!,3 weeks later he has one,He told me it's better then he expected, however he wouldnt recommend it if you want a perfect picture.
Overall He was very impressed But like they say a more expensive one might be better for you if you are looking for a proper cinema projector.
Customer Rating: Summary: Cheap as chips and a little more cheerful. Comment: I thought I'd written a review for this item already but never mind. It's cheap and you get exactly what you pay for. This isn't a criticism because I actually like this device but I feel a few people have unrealistic expectations from this gadget. If you wanna watch the occasional DVD then it'd a cracking Projector, it's fun and I feel older movies benefit a bit more than more modern ones by older I mean 80s or earlier. I think the price-to-fun ratio is a fair one for a one-off payment just don't take it too seriously.
Customer Rating: Summary: You get what you pay for Comment: A very disappointing product - the number of lumens usually indicates how bright an image will be from a projector but this appears not to be the case with this particular projector. I decided to return the one I bought because the image was unclear and dull, the colour bizarre and the sound inadequate.
Buyers should also be aware that the projector will not work with XBox 360 without contacting the distributor for an adapter - this is a known problem which is only being addressed after purchase - not good enough.
Customer Rating: Summary: Save your money - buy a REAL projector Comment: As reminded by Amazon when rating this item - it is a toy. Do not expect to be able to sit back and relax with fantastic quality movies/games.
After several hours in a completely PITCH BLACK room I finally had enough and packed it back into the box. The functions are so limited, (no remote, only basic manual focus ring so impossible to sharpen picture).
I cannot really comment on the audio as the fan was so loud! I was very disappointed with this product - considering you can now purchase high quality projectors for only a little more money.
Save yor money - shop around - and always only buy a projector you have seen in operation, as the quality varies tremendously.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great projector for Price Comment: Dont expect state of the art home cinema, but this projector would make your kids happy when they have toy story projected in 6ft screen on their walls. Great for the price.

It's not everyday we see something as aesthetically pleasing and feature packed as the AL-100 Entertainment Projector at Gadgetshop HQ; so when this sleek and sophisticated number arrived, it caused quite a stir. With the AL-100 Projector you'll be able to project movies, video games and even pictures from a digital camera onto a wall or ceiling at up to 6ft in size! At just 37cm in length and 14cm in width you could be forgiven for thinking the size of this projector would restrict its functionality...but you'd be wrong; the AL-100 is loaded with a TFT LCD projector boasting a 960 x 240 resolution which beams a 1.5m projection (optimal projection) onto any flat surface at 4:3 aspect ratio. Its compatibility extends from the regular VCR and DVD units to the majority of gaming consoles, and it's been manufactured with an RCA composite interface (audio and video cables included). It even has its own built-in amplifier, speaker and headphone output. The unit comes complete with a vertical projection stand for projecting onto the ceiling if it takes your fancy, and it has a manual lens focus to ensure users will always see the sharpest picture possible. The projector's size, shape and weight make it incredibly easy to transport and setting up couldn't be simpler - in fact it'll take seconds. Film buffs and gaming addicts have never had it so good.
