Summary: What a pile of junk!
Comment: Broke after a few days of use. There are a lot better headsets on the market for a similar price. The only reason that I originally purchased it was because it was USB which enabled me to use it on my Playstation 3.
You're better off however, purchasing a sound card adaptor and using a normal headset or any other USB headset!

Summary: This Headset is worth the money!
Comment: Didn't buy from amazon but it is the same one as i have got. Despite other negative reviews i think there are many positive things about the headset. It is very cheap compared to others and the sound quality is superb. There are wires which is both good and bad. The good point is that it wil never need charging so you can plug it in and use it from the start. But the wire is not very long and the headset can be damaged easily if you trip over it or forget to take it off. The headset in general will last along time if taken care of properly and it is very good at its job and at £13 you can not go wrong

Summary: Don't bother wasting your money
Comment: Broke within a day of using this item, my advice would be to put your money towards a better quality wireless headset

Comment: cheap flimsy and broke when I was unpacking it. People couldn't hear me, I couldn't hear them. In a nutshell, rubbish. Avoid.

Summary: Rubbish
Comment: This headset is rubbish, I tried using it when playing a game on my PS3 and the voices I heard were very hard to make out.
Also the cable is very short, so you have to sit close to your television set.
The only redeeming thing I could say is that it is okay to use if you are having a video chat with your friends.

Editorial Reviews:

Gaming Headset is a wired audio solution that's perfect for anyone who needs a versatile, reliable headset which isn't vulnerable to wireless interference. Talk to your chums in online games on your PS3.

Talk, strategise, control - when playing online games, you must keep in touch with your fellow gamers. When they're down, you can taunt and boast. When you're working as a team, you can share tips and tactics. And when in the lobby before a game, you can simply chat.

Datel's PS3 Gaming Headset is the ideal accessory for online gamers. Featuring a comfortable, over-the-head design and a mic positioned just where you need it, Gaming Headset keeps you in touch with your fellow gamers.

Because it uses a cable instead of wireless connectivity, there's no danger of it interfering with other wireless devices nearby. As it offers a single earpiece, you can still hear what's going on in the room, so you can play your favourite game with your stereo on in the background if you wish.

Features :
  • Chat over the net.
  • Cabled, so not vulnerable to wireless interference.
