Summary: Very good piece of kit
Comment: I bought this to replace a previous Philips DivX-DVD player that lasted me about 3 years. It plays almost any movie file whether DivX or XVid encoded. This one comes with the USB feature which is a clever add-on. This saves a lot of time spent writing files to disc, without any apparent difference in play/load speed. It only gets 4 stars as the remote doesn't work unless you point it directly at the set and I often have to press the buttons more than once to get a response. It's also a bit noisy when reading from discs in the tray. Nonetheless it's well worth the price.

Summary: Fantastic, just what I needed a USB connection
Comment: Based on the reviews, I brought one of these for my mum & dad so I could easily give them .avi files to watch. It worked like a dream, so much so that I've brought 3 more for my sister, my neighbour and myself.
Can't recommend this highly enough, and can't fault Pixmania-UK.
I use it in conjunction with a "Buffalo RUF-C8G/U2 - 8GB USB 2.0 High Flash speed" which works perfectly and fast.

Summary: Whoa! Plug'n'play right from the box.
Comment: I was a little concerned about going for something so cheap, but I needn't have worried! Plugged it in and it worked straight from the box. Played a disc I couldn't play on my previous player and played a region 1 disc without having to change any settings. Well pleased and I haven't even tried all the features yet. Excellent service from PixMania too.

Summary: Reliable little player
Comment: This is a great DVD player which has performed well on all but the scratchiest discs. The USB function has also worked flawlessly. Very good machine for the price.

Summary: Great Player!
Comment: This is a fantastic player, and I agree with all the good reviews it's got here. Just a few v minor things I don't like:

- The DVD drawer is very thin, and feels a bit flimsy.
- It seems to create a lot of interference on Ch 58 (BBC1 for me!) when on. Fine in standby though.
- The player body is silver, not black, which I think would've looked more sleek.

Other than that, I love it - it's played rental DVDs flawlessly that my other players skip on. USB is brilliant, and it's played every file I've tried. I'm very pleased with it!
