Customer Rating: Summary: Fantastic Comment: This camera is a fantastic present for someone the quality of the pictures is amazing and the battery lasts for a very long time.
Customer Rating: Summary: superb! Comment: This is an excellent camera for anyone who needs a digi cam for general use. First off, the picture quality for close up shots and landscapes is absolutely superb. The colours that come out on the close ups are incredible, and so unexpected for such a small (and relatively cheap!) camera. The menu is easy to use - with approx. 8 different settings, and there has been no compatibility issues with using with Vista. The black and white option also takes very good quality photographs.
The only downside is for long distance shots and night shots. Both of these (say at use for concerts or at sporting events) aren't so great. The night shots sometimes seem a little grainy, and any bright lights seem to hinder the camera's avalibility to pick up details well. The zoom is good, but I have found that it sometimes comes out slightly grainy on full zoom.
Overall though, an excellent, easy to use camera which, in 99% of cases, takes beautiful pictures and picks up on colour excellently.
Well worth the money and ideal for anyone who doesn't want to spend a vast amount of money but wants high quality, high colour photographs.
Customer Rating: Summary: Brilliant Comment: This is a great camera...GREAT PRICE and GREAT PICTURES...its easy to use and has the great features..!!FULLY RECOMMEND IT..!
Customer Rating: Summary: Good pocket digital camera Comment: No problems with delivery or instructions as another reviewer had. Great little camera. Not 5 stars though because (i) I miss an eye viewer, and (2) it needs its own USB lead (supplied) as the fitting to camera is not standard- MORE LEADS TO KEEP SAFE!
Hey Fuji - why not go standard? The phone industry is attempting to standardise chargers. We have standard USB cable fittings. Why be different and awkward?
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Camera - NO support Comment: This is a terrific little camera, but if you buy it here, you are buying from a source in France, and it only comes with FRENCH instructions!
I asked Amazon to send me some English instructions, and they were totally disinterested - Despite being willing enough to take the cash, they referred me to Pixmania, (The actual seller) who just gave me a website to download the manual from!
I think that the lack of customer service is totally reprehensible, and I am considering returning the goods for a refund.
As I started off by saying, it's a very nice bit of gear, but buy it somewhere else. Amazon just don't deserve to have your business.
