Customer Rating: Summary: X BOX 360 XMAS disappointment Comment: This box malfuntioned straight out of the packaging. The start up screen never appeared. On reboot it did but the box malfuntioned continually after that with games crashing out or screen freezing after variable amounts of time sometimes 5 minutes other 35 minutes. This was on Xmas day after it was given as a Xmas present - how much disappointment there was. It culminated with the red lights of doom signifying the box had indeed died.
I now have to wait until January 2nd for a pick up - who can guess when the repacement will arrive?
3rd January 2008 - good service - hop it works this time.
Customer Rating: Summary: Oozes Cool.... Comment: So it's only £20 quid cheaper than the Elite console, who care's, it's a thing of beauty, all green and Master Chief 'ish, go on, treat your self, buy it....
Customer Rating: Summary: Quick and Easy Comment: Straight out of the box and playing within minutes. The only reason I got an Xbox was to play Halo 3 with pals and online. I paid the extra £20 quid or so for the halo edition becuase it stands out and is different and is a newer version and less likly to over heat or have problems. (not sure if this is correct but what I have heard).
You are only getting half of the game if you do not use Xbox Live!
Enjoy! I know I am......

Customer Rating: Summary: Great Console, Shame About The Noise Comment: I recently purchased this console 3 days ago and have been playing halo 3 non stop (actually completed the game in just a day) oops!
The console is great! I have been waiting to purchase a 360 all year, and thanks to the new 65mm chip, i was able to do that! The only thing is, its still far too noisy. When your not playing a game it runs crisp quiet and cool, but as soon as you stick your game in, the drive just goes in hyper mode and is extremely loud for my liking. Microsoft have seemed to fix the overheating and fan noise, but the dvd drive is still far too noisy! my friend has a premium and that is just ridiciously noisy all the time so i'd recommened the halo edition over the old premium just for the noise!
Dont let the noise put you off though, I'm use to very quiet (almost silent) machines such as my PC and Wii.
Bottom line. The Halo edition is stunning! Plus the 360 has wicked games out at the moment and looks set to beat Sony this time around. I also have a Wii which is another great machine if you already own a 360 since its great fun using the wii remote as a gun!
Only bad thing i can think of is the noise. Plus the 360 doesnt have built in wi-fi. Whats up with that? I would assume they would have added that to the Elite but its not the case. Just have to fork out £50 for it! The 20gb hard drive is a little small too also, because you only get around 13/14gb available!
For £280, you could expect a bit more i think, but still a great buy! Take a look at the ELITE version before you buy this since its better equiped.
Customer Rating: Summary: WOW lol Comment: I just recieved this console this morning, and it is amazing!
I had a 360 before but sold it as i wanted a ps3.

The console itself looks amazing and is so so much quiter than the regular xbox!!!
