Customer Rating: Summary: £84.99 FROM COMET Comment: Just to let everyone know that as i write this comet are selling this for £84.99 online.
Just got it home and with the help of an 'idiot sheet' installed with ease. Its a massive piece of kit about 18" square and 10" tall but looks a quality build and i think is a real bargain.
Happy shopping!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Epson Stylus Photo RX685 Comment: Next day delivery. Yes it is a bit noisey but only when paper is being fed prior to printing. It does rock and roll when printing but produces great photo prints. As long as it performs like this for a few years I`ll be happy. Had an Epson Stylus CX3600 prior to this and lasted about 4 years before photo paper refused to feed (6x4.) Everything else ok. So lets see what the next few years does to the RX685.
Customer Rating: Summary: A1 printer Comment: Received today, set up and running within the hour.
Colour prints on plain paper ...... very good
Colour prints on inket photo paper ..... excellent
Colour prints on glossy paper ....... outstanding.
Noise level ... no problem other than a little clanking/whirring on initial setup which was hardly noticeable over the TV.
It would be extremely useful to have a 'save settings' to the pc as I find the printer screen a bit fiddly to use but apart from this minor gripe I recommend this printer wholeheartedly.
On a slight tangent, if you're familiar with SSC service utility there's no mention of the 685 yet but, fingers crossed!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Epson rx685 Best printer yet Comment: Just purchased this aa a second printer for business superb prints and cheap ink also available I have already purchased extra ink for £10.98 on the internet from a well known auction site. Highly recomend this printer and at this price it's a gift saw this elsewhere for £199. The DVD Prints are superb. buy It Now!
Customer Rating: Summary: Transparencies Comment: This unit is supposed to be an all purpose printer but it does not print on OHP transparency film including Epsons own special transparency film.
