Customer Rating: Summary: Vista Comment: I actually think the ipod touch is a fabulous piece of technology, but, I've judged on the weakest link, vista compliance. All other generations of ipod are compliant so why not the touch? I've tried every possible option but end up with the message that it's a camera and no drivers are available.
Customer Rating: Summary: the best thing I have bought in a very long time! Comment: at first I was worried at the price of the touch ipod and was sceptible that it wasn't 'that' good. how I was wrong! So many functions and it looks amazing as well!
Customer Rating: Summary: So sexy.. I love it. Comment: I got the 8GB iPod touch for christmas and keep discovering more great things as I use it.
The music player is the least important function for me. I really like the way it displays photos, I am using the calendar (which incidentally does allow you to key in new appointments with a touch screen Qwerty keyboard that's easy to use)and I'm transferring all my contact information to Outlook so that I can sync it with the ipod and have a great address book at hand. The clock functions are brilliant too.
Downsides...
Chargers and car adapters etc are ridiculously expensive
8Gb is too small as I have exceeded this capacity in music alone and have to hand select songs.... shame it is not expandable.
Customer Rating: Summary: So cool, it almost seems unreal Comment: This is such an amazing product, in every aspect. It's almost like something from the future. This slim, sleek gadget does so much, and so much so well: music, videos, Internet surfing. But it'd say the genius with it is how well it does all these things. In fact, I've actually typed and submited this review using my iPod touch!
By the way, Amazon currently has its own iPhone/iPod touch-friendly website that automatically loads when you go to Amazon using an iPod touch. Although you can also access the usual Amazon site fine if you want.
Customer Rating: Summary: Brilliance Comment: Apple have really created something special here, wonderful product, worth at least £200 id say.

The iPod touch is a revolutionary new iPod ? and quite possibly the best ever created! It has a touch interface and the same panoramic screen seen on the iPhone, not to mention a WiFi Internet connection. In effect, the iPod touch is equipped with a revolutionary ?multi-touch? interface that puts all your music and video files right at your fingertips. The iPod touch also has WiFi connectivity so you can instantly access to Google, Yahoo! Search, and the millions of free videos available onYouTube. Unbelievably slim at just 8mm thick, the iPod touch is fixed with a superb 3.5? panoramic screen that is perfect for watching films or TV programmes and for displaying photos and album covers. The iPod touch is also equipped with an accelerometer that recognises the player?s orientation in space. When the iPod is in music mode, the Cover Flow function automatically displays album covers so you can flip through your music library quickly and easily. The iPod touch also has a built-in low-light sensor that adjusts the brightness of the screen according to the environment. The iPod touch offers up to 22 hours of audio play time and up to 5 hours in video mode. Some might describe the iPod touch as one the new Seven Wonders of the World. Whether or not this is true, the iPod touch is certainly revolutionising the world of digital music players!
