Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent buy Comment: I am no techno geek but being a customer, I would say, this TV surpasses all expectations, so far so good, its been 3 months of heavenly viewing, I combined it with Sky HD plus and Samsung 7.1 Channel blu ray home theatre system, It has changed the way I watch TV now. Well, only problem is weekends being so busy with friends and family clamouring around and bring their own DVDs, but what the heck, It is all worth it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Dissapointing motion handling Comment: Even though there are many strong points with this TV, motion handling is truly disappointing in a kit at this level.
Especially faces in dark backgrounds leave a nasty smear which is utterly painful to look at.
If you are tolerant for such a shortcoming, you can be truly happy with this TV, for that any other point than motion handling I would give this TV 5, but overall I don't believe it deserves such high appraisals given by previous reviewers.

The KDL-52W3000 LCD television from Sony combines style and technology. It has a superb aluminium finish and BRAVIA image improvement functions such as Theater Sync, the x.v. Colour colour generator and Engine Ex image processor. These functions guarantee that the images on the television's 10-bit, 46" screen are both bright and deep. The KDL-52W3000 also has a 3D digital comb filter to manage Full HD pictures, and it processes 1920x1080-pixel video and Nicam sound with a Dolby Digital Plus decoder. Thanks to a 16,000:1 contrast rate, the KDL-52W3000 will plunge right into the heart of your favourite films. It even has a High Defintion digital tuner and an analogue tuner, as well as 3 HDMi entries, a PC entry and two scart sockets. In fact, the KDL-52W3000 has everything you need for your home entertainment needs!

After announcing in its last fiscal year Apple had sold almost 10 million Macs, Apple announced at Macworld today the launch of iLife '09, and it includes a new version of iPhoto.
iPhoto now lets users organise photos using face-detection technology. After detecting a face, users can tag it with a name, then browse other photos featuring the same face. Should iPhoto get it wrong, you can tell it so, and remove the wrong person's photo from the list.
Also new in iPhoto is the ability to organise pictures by their location. So if your photos are geotagged with GPS location information -- say, Paris -- iPhoto will let you browse all the photos you've taken in Paris. No geotagged photos? No worries, since you can add place names yourself.
And with integration with Facebook and Flickr, photos tagged with your friends' names bring their tags with them when synced and downloaded to iPhoto.
