Customer Rating: Summary: Great phone, with one possible caveat Comment: The phone itself is mostly excellent.
Lots of memory for a large address book (200 numbers), clear display, easy to use keypad and menu system, and great voice quality whether in normal use or with the speaker phone.
Great to use,really.
A possible fly in the ointment is one to which Panasonic customer services themselves admitted. In certain telephone exchanges with certain phone providers the phone will display a caller's number but will not display their name if it is in the address book. However the correct name is displayed when you look back at the history of who called you. Curious!
Many people now have bundled ADSL and telephony offers so this might be concern. It was for me, so I have deducted 1 star from an otherwise flawless performance. I have arranged to send it back and get the KX-TG8223 which Panasonic claim does not suffer from this problem.
Customer Rating: Summary: happy with it so far Comment: bought this after trawling thru' the web and have used it for the past week...so far so good.clear display, colour screen is a plus but on hindsight we don't really need it.the handset is a tad chunky but no more than our previous philips and sits sturdily in the cradle.ringtones are "normal",200 name phonebook is useful altho' it seems we will need to make entries in each handset which is a waste of time(would've been much better if they could duplicate the entries automatically).internal paging and backlight have proved useful.

Panasonic's Phone for Professionals: the KXTG 8093 Answering machine functionality is the main feature of the Panasonic KXTG8093. As a built-in system, the machine is able to record 15 minutes of messages so missed calls will have a way of reaching the phone's users. SMS applications are also integrated into this Panasonic cordless phone, expanding communication options in a number of ways. The compact base is practical, making efficient use of any available space, whether in the workplace or inside the home. A 1.3 colour LCD affords users with display precision. Phonebook capacity runs to a total of 200 names with corresponding numbers for convenient access when one has a lot of calls to do. Comfort in call transactions is also provided for by the speakerphone with its hands-free set-up. Headphone solutions are another option to consider with the headset jack in this cordless phone. In addition, the KX-TG8093 delivers exceptionally well as a space-saving measure since it is also a wall mountable unit. No need to clear any desk space then if assigning the cordless device to a wall meets the bulk of the user's needs. The Panasonic KX-TG 8090 range will require the KX-TCA 817 EX Wall Mounting Adaptor for the base unit to be wall mounted - Please click here for details.
