Customer Rating: Summary: Very Disappointing Comment: Its looks the business, but its not very practical. Aiming by moving the whole unit and trying to move using the nunchuck, which is joined to the unit, is a bit awkward. To be honest its a bit of a nightmare and not very fun at all. The shooting side of things is also very awkward and not what you'd expect. For the right handed out there (and thats most of us) your trigger finger is your right index finger. You don't actually use this to fire when using the zapper. You have to aim and shoot with your left hand. It just doesn't feel right. You could try switching hands on the zapper (left controlling the nunchuck and right controlling the remote) but that doesn't feel right either. Its a shame cause it does look good and in theory should be a good fun piece of kit, but i would say its more suited to lefties. I've not used mine in ages. Its more fun playing the games without it. Nevermind, eh? Now how am i going to get my money back?!
Customer Rating: Summary: Very good accessory Comment: I gave this item 3 stars for fun, as the fun really begins when you buy games that would benefit from it.
The wii zapper is, without a doubt, the best light gun available for the wii, as it's the official one, there is literally nothing wrong with it.
The games that spring to mind that use this are Ghost squad, Resident evil umbrella chronicles, and House of the dead return.
These games all highly benefit from it.
The feel of the gun is good, you can hold it left or right handed. The gun is pure plastic, but its not uncomfortable. I would highly reccomend buying the wii zapper.
As for the game, it's a spin off, with no story, just pure target training. I have played it three times, and i've had this since christmas 2007, so whatever you do, dont buy the zapper for the game included.
Overall, this product is great, but i would reccomend buying it with a game such as Ghost Squad, Umbrella chronicals or House of the dead.
Customer Rating: Summary: Feckin Brill Comment: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this game. I'd repeat how much I love it more but you should get the idea. I'm totally kicking my fiance's ass and he is not happy. I actually think theres a secret assasin in me. Am fighting to get my last 2 platinum medals but its so much fun that I'm enjoying it all the way. And now that I'm almost finished with the "training" I think they should bring out the real deal. I'll be lining up to get it as soon as it comes out
Customer Rating: Summary: A Cool invention Comment: I bought this game as it looked like alot of fun. I was not disappointed. The Wii Zapper is a cool invention it works really well with the game included Links Crossbow training. In this game you hit the targets or monsters to earn points. The wii Zapper works well with Resident Evil Umbrella. I give this game plus Wii Zapper 10/10 as this is a really original item.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun for all ages! Comment: I bought this game for my boyfriend (age 41) and, although it states that it's for age 12+, my two daughters (age 4 and 6) absolutely adore this game too. They are not at all frightened of the monsters and creepy crawlies. We are all hooked and the other wii games haven't hardly been in since getting this one. It's a shoot-em-up, without a doubt, but so much fun. Every time I play, I am discovering new things I didn't know previously. The main thing I've noticed is that you must not waste your shots and always have consecutive hits. I've had the game about 2 weeks and have got some platinum levels already, but that's because I've been playing it so much. Fantastic fun. I can't imagine anyone who would not like this game. Extremely highly recommended.
