Customer Rating: Summary: Groove on! Comment: Klipsch Room Groove - Wireless iPod Speaker System
Never heard of Klipsch but reading the previous reviews i decided to take a leap of faith and place the order. I am so happy i did, and so is my bank manager! Looks good, easy to set up and really good sound from an ipod system. Much better than anything i played with on the high street in this price range. I did look at higher priced systems, but on reflection, they did not give me much more than this does, just an emptier purse.
I am not a techy, just a music lover that wanted a speaker system to do my fav tracks justice and shake the walls when the mood takes me! This delivers on both points.
Many thanks to the reviewers that went before - you were right :)
Customer Rating: Summary: not so dull!!!!! Comment: i have never owned an ipod before and i was looking for a docking station as well.picked these items as they looked easy enough.took me no time to work out how to use the ipod {taking me a while to down load all my cd's } and the docking station was very easy {plug in and away to go}. the sound is brill. , as good as my hi fi system , we are loving it . will buy more stations for use around the house.
Customer Rating: Summary: Klipsch rides again! Comment: Just set up my Room Groove, lovin it!
I already own the smaller STX model, which is great. I wanted another unit a bit bigger, so thought I would give this one a go.
Since I bought the STX in late 07, I have been checking the reviews as they have built up, I am pleased to see that others are sharing my enthusiasm for the overall sound quality and design, there are a few that are disappointed that it will not replace a 2K PA rig, hmmm. I can see dense people!
In general Klipsch seem to be building an excellent reputation in the UK for good quality at a price below the popular well known competitors. The Room Groove continues along the same lines in my opinion. Sounds great, looks good.
The wireless capability is a good idea, I don't own two units so cannot provide feed-back at this stage. I am sure I will at some stage in the near future.
If you want a quality Ipod speaker unit, look no further.
Cant afford this one? Get the STX.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Best Buy Comment: Over the last 30 years we have had many types and make of Hi-Fi in our family. For the last 18 months we have used a compact Denon system but although good is not portable. Our son just upgraded to an 80gb ipod so at 50 years old we followed suit.
Having read the reviews on the Klipch,Bose and Tanoy docking systems we decided to try the Klipsh.
I,ve come home from work to find the system up and running.
The sound reproduction across the range is really good with no distortion
at all. The whole unit is solid and well built. As I had never heard of Klipsh before maybe they need more exsposure in the UK. At under £200.00 this is a bargin that I would strongly recomend concidering.
