Customer Rating: Summary: Great product for Mac time machine users. Comment: I have just received my Western Digital My Book 2 Essential 320GB External USB 2.0 Hard Drive, I was pleasantly surprised at how small it is. Its design is sleek with a good finish with flashing blue lights to show its processing data.
I own a Mac desktop computer running the new leopard software. The minute i plugged it in the time machine software recognised it and synced in seconds. I now have the piece of mind that all my memories and work are backed up.
Great product.
The only reason I havent given it 5 stars is that it is actually just over 290Gb, I guess it takes a bit to power it.
