Customer Rating: Summary: Venon Light Blaster Fun Comment: The gun is a great addition to the shooting games, it definitely makes it more fun to play the games. The gun ideally needs to be pointed a little further up than you would the wii remote as the sensor is a bit further down, so the aim needs a little refinement.
The nunchuck fits in fine with it, we have Resident Evil and Wii Play which we have used the gun with and it's absolutely great.
Customer Rating: Summary: Does the job well Comment: I bought one of these to try out on house of the dead. It is a lot more comfortable with this than playing the game with a bare wiimote. This particular pistol attachment seems about the cheapest on amazon but the build quality doesn't feel cheap. I have large hands and the bottom of the grip digs in a little for me, but should be fine for normal sized people ;)
I'm about to order 3 more of these for Ghost Squad. If thats not a recommendation, I don't know what is.
Customer Rating: Summary: Tip Top Comment: Great gun, nicely balanced, been obliterating zombies on house of the dead 2 & 3 and so far its held up to bare trigger-mashing with no marks on the B button on the remote what so ever. only thing that worries me is the way you insert the remote in terms of the connections on the bottom of the wii remote (for nunchuck) , it goes in at a bit of an angel and i feel that the design may weaken the connection when removed and replaced repeatedly over time, but only time will tell. but def great value for money and build quality is excellent.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Design and Feel- Recommend Comment: Ordered two of these not so long ago. First off like to say the image amazon shows does no justice for the gun. The real thing does not like its been squashed. Theres a nice design running along side the gun and its feels comfortable when holding. Trigger works brilliant and has a nice spring loaded mechanism. Wii remot slots in a nice and easy. Nunchuk can be attached to bottom of gun handle. Note please: Nunchuk doesnt actlluy sit in the gun, but you have to hold it seperate. have heard though that design is good for the game Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicals. Have only played hpuse of the dead with these guns and they work fab. Would recommend any day!
Customer Rating: Summary: Quite good Comment: This is what i've been looking for for a while. It brings back the memories of playing House of the Dead at the arcade many years ago. It's much better than the Wii Zapper.
It appears that some people have had ones that have a spring loaded trigger and others don't. I, unfortunately, am one of the ones that doesn't have a spring loaded trigger and that's my only complaint really. I can move my finger much faster than the B button is able to push the trigger back into position. For every two full contractions of my finger only one shot is fired.
Other than that it is well made and feels very sturdy in the hand. The moulded pistol grip feels comfortable and the gun itself isn't that heavy even with the Wii remote slotted in place. The positioning of the slot on the bottom for the nun-chuck is brilliant as the cable is no longer in the way as it can be on other guns.
Can't complain for under a tenner!
