Customer Rating: Summary: Just what I was looking for Comment: Cannot fault this speaker, I was looking for a docking station for my 2G ipod touch which sounded good and also charged it at the same time. Very happy with my purchase!!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Better than Apple's Ipod hi-fi Comment: Before i Bought this i had the apple hi-fi, and this is way better the sound is amazing. You can change the colour, bass and treble. It also has an option to choose the album you want. It's easy to lift and move around the house, you don't have to make it change track it does it by itself. This could also be used for partys as it can be so loud!
The gadget show recommend it aswell
Customer Rating: Summary: Incredible Comment: We had some doubts about this because of the problems with quite music, however having tested it I can report that this fault is diagnosed wrongly. It switches itself off if you don't touch a key on the remote or alter the volume with the buttons in any 15 minute period. So if you switch tracks or alter the volume you will not experience it. The type and volume of the music makes no difference but as some classical pieces easily exceed 15 minutes if you do nothing it will shut off.
If you use the 3.5mm jack connection to a non iPod music source then just using the remote for an iPod function every 15 minutes will prevent the automatic shut down even though there is no iPod to control.
As for the sound: We connected it to the tape-out of our amplifier and adjusted the volume so that it was about the same as that going to the speakers connected to the amplifier then switched from one to the other on the same music source. The amplifier and speakers are about two thousand pounds worth and, yes they did sound better but surprisingly not anything like twenty times better. If we had bought this first it is doubtful that we would have bought anything else. For casual listening on a sub-standard source (like any over compressed CD) then it is more than adequate and that is what we do most of.
If it did not have the annoying 15 minute shut off then I would give it 5 plus stars. At the Amazon price it is just incredible.
Customer Rating: Summary: broke! Comment: the speakers played amazingly but after about 5 months of use they broke, very very irritating
Customer Rating: Summary: does this come with a travel case? Comment: hello everyone, these speakers look amazing but 2 things
1. i have a ipod classic 80gb and im just wondering if this is compatable and does this speaker system keep turning off at quiet music?
2 does this come with a travel case?
