Customer Rating: Summary: excellent camera Comment: I recently bought the Canon IXUS 80 digital Camera and I am very impressed!!! I have been looking for a digital camera for a while now to replace my old Olympus digital camera. I have tested a number of cameras in the shops and I think the zoom and the quality of pictures from the canon are much better than the others I tried.
I took the camera on holiday and I have some amazing pictures, the camera was able to pick up the colours of the sea really well. The camera is really easy to use and also has a night time shooting mode which actually works really well.
I would recomend this camera to everyone.
Customer Rating: Summary: An easy to use great little camera! Comment: I've recently bought the Canon IXUS 80 after having another digital camera which wasn't very good. I know quite a few people with Canon digital cameras who recommended this little camera to me.
All I can say is it's fabulous! The photo quality is brilliant, it's compact and smart looking and very easy to use. After about a day I had worked out how to do most things, which is remarkable as I aren't particularly in the know about cameras!
I've so far taken pics of my animals both still and whilst moving, I've recorded short videos, which were great quality and used in it dark conditions. I haven't found any negative points yet!
This camera is a great buy and well worth it's money. I'd recommend it to anyone whether a beginner or more advanced.
Congratulations Canon and thanks for this little pink gem!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great camera, and it's pink!! Comment: I was given this as a birthday present having destroyed my previous digital ixus camera.
It is very easy to use and similar to my previous Canon. The screen is huge and extremely clear. The photos are great, very sharp.
The software that is included is good and allows you to see your pictures in a slideshow as they are loaded on to your pc which is quite cool.
The battery life is really good, I took the camera on holiday last week and didn't need to charge the battery once despite taking 290 pics!
I've not fully read the manual yet as it comes on a cd which is a little annoying.
I would recommend getting a bigger memory card, they are cheap enough and give you much more room, the camera doesn't come with a case either.
I would definitely recommend this camera.
