Customer Rating: Summary: expensive Comment: great wheel i want to purchase a second wheel and usually buy a lot of stuff from amazon but not this time its far to expensive at double the price. poor show amazon!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Superior Driving Experience Comment: Don't let anyone tell you that there is no difference between using the wii wheel and sticking with just the remote. It is true that all you're getting for your money is a bit of plastic which the wii-mote slips into but the transformation in games like Mario Kart Wii is extraordinary.
The wii wheel is simple, convenient to use and makes the gaming experience much more satisfying, especially if playing with mates. The wii remote alone is too small and fiddly and can be really awkward to control on some tracks and, lets face it, whats the point in having a Wii if you're going to use a nunchuk or traditional remote?
It might be true that the wheel is a tad expensive and seems like nothing substantial but its effect on gameplay, however subtle, makes it well worth the buy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Forget the wheel, you don't need it Comment: If you are the 'main' player of Mario Kart, you'll have realised by now that the most satisfactory way to play it is using nunchuck, classic, Gamecube controllers. If you are playing multiplayer with people who are not used to using normal game controllers, let them use the wheel that came in the box. It won't be long before they ask to learn how to play by the joystick method, because the game doesn't play that well with the wheel!
It's a bit pricey n'all!
Customer Rating: Summary: What an absolute rip off Comment: How dare Amazon charge such a price for this item - this is daylight robbery, please buy your wheel for less than £10 somewhere else.
Have recently found that the game controls are actually just as good with the Wii Mote and Nunchuk.
Customer Rating: Summary: Expensive Comment: The actual wii wheel is indeed the only wheel accessory worth getting. but i got it for 6.99 from another company and the SRP was £9.99.
get this wheel but shop around
