None of them have the killer apps, user interface, supreme build quality and style of the ipod touch. Nothing comes even close to toppling this beauty! Customer Rating: Summary: Very good with small flaws Comment: I have had my ipod touch for about two weeks and it is great. it just looks amazing and is so simple to use. So far battery life seems fine.the only slight flaws with it are 1) Its not really loud, I use it mostly outdoors when walking my dogs and have to have it at 3/4 to full to hear above the traffic or general outdoor noise. 2)head phones are poor quality, now I am no music expert but the sounds does distort a little with tracks that have bass, and i have a lot of dance music. But this can be fixed by some new headphones. But overall it is very good and it is so sexy!!! Customer Rating: Summary: ipod Touch - Ohhh Yeah Comment: I brought my wife one for her birthday as she likes technology that "just works" and she loves it. After learning how everything else works herself (not getting me to do the bits she didn't like which is unheard of in our house) she downloaded the update using itunes wirelessly and now sends and receives e-mails to friends and family somthing shes never done before even though she's owned 3 laptops. Her argument being its just so easy :) I love it and can safely say it's the best gadget I've ever brought and I have a shed load of them. As my birthday is coming up I will definately be dropping massive hints for the 8gb Touch even if its just so I can sit in Starbucks or the local pub and send e-mails or download reviews and cinema times :) at Bluewater. Customer Rating: Summary: Converted- Fantastic Product Comment: I bought this product as a skeptic of whether the touchscreen would be sensitive enough and if it would be easy to type on and use. I was instantly converted t their way of thinking (and feeling) - the touchscreen gestures and typing immediately appeared as intutive and made doing wanted easy to learn and use. The internet is simple to browse, the range of applications is amazing (and soon to be extended by a Software development kit) and the maps have replaced my GPS. Whilst the location system doesn't work in the UK (yet) you can download your route onto the device and then just follow the instructions on screen. The mail app is just as simple- its truely an iPhone without the phone. Positives Easy to use touch screen with some excellent applications and extendability- becomes a true portable companion Negatives Low amount of storage space for people with big music collections and constantly having to clean the scren. Also the possibility of having to pay for the "App Store" when it is released.
