Summary: Hp - Great Buy
Comment: I am usually a Mac user, but wanted a Windows machine for some work tasks I wanted to keep separate. I looked at many machines, but was drawn to this one - and what a great choice I made. This laptop is chic, fast and hard working. The support and set up is very good as are the utilities.
Excellent buy.

Summary: Excellent laptop, solid and reliable
Comment: This is the first laptop that I have purchased and I am very pleased with it. It has a very solid, quality feel and is fast and reliable. Look round though, its price varies considerably and you will get the same sealed product whatever you pay.
Pros
I got 4Gb memory - not sure if this was essential. The full amount was only recognised in Vista SP1. Most laptops do not allow such a generous amount.
Do get an xb3000 expansion accessory, again the price varies enormously (from £20 to £100). This gives desktop like connectivity, but with the ability to just take the laptop out and go and do some work in the garden.
The system has never crashed in 2 months.
HP used to be joking referred to as "high price", but the spec is great for the ptice, the support is second to none, build qualty is high, it came with a useful slip case and a wireless lazer mouse.
Cons
The keyboard has dull gold colour keys with black lettering - perhaps not quite so clear as a black keys with white lettering? I see that such a keyboard is available as an HP accessory - so I will see how I get on with it. It is certainly solid and non-sticky, so perhaps this is the trade-off.
Overall
I am delighted with my purchase and I am not an easily pleased consumer!

Summary: Good entertainment PC
Comment: I was delibrating whether to buy this or Vaio FZ21M. But finally settled for this. This system is a very good buy for the price mentioned. The overall performance has been excellent. The metallic exterior finishing is good, giving it a unique appearance.
