Customer Rating: Summary: Ok- For Keeping the Dust off -But not enough protection Comment: I ordered this for my Wii fit- it arrived before My official Wii Console case. I was disappointed....Why?
I don't believe it gives enough protection. I'm x Production Engineer-manufacturing (80's)that built a similar device to wii fit board though not for games.
So i know how sensitive/careful you should be with the board, ok if you want to carry board around the house, keep dust off and then keeping it safely inside a wardrobe , then its fine- but DON'T place anything on top of it, but as it is, would not place it in the back of car (or Roofbox), carry during the rush hour on the tube etc - it is not designed to take a knock even a little one or even leave it propped up in the living room as if it fell could damage board.
The bag is a light weight cotton/nylon mesh type material(nice)- no problem- handles are ok as they go all the way under bag and back over to join together at top; so not likely to break with the weight of the board (exceptable)-
BUT padding is poor- must have less than 5mm foam & cardboard on inside (both sides), inside covered by nylon layer so you don't see the padding. With 2 nylon pockets- just what you need to have ,DVD game box & Manual bagging against your Board when you walk!!!
Looks good but if you take a bash will not protect the board. Worth £3.99-( and that's because of the large ZIP!!) for use in home. I have taken to adding my own bubble wrapp around the board when placing inside. And will look for alternative for both safer storage in house & proper protection when travelling. - If I had to take it out tomorrow- I would use the box it came in...
Sorry Logic 3- Disappointed as I buy lots of your products and this is the 1st to disappoint me, normally a satisfied customer- Not this time
You could have improved it by adding strong built in plastic corners- it should be solid, more /better padding)- Giving the bag a 'Free standing shape' This can be roll up just like one of those eco black M&S £1.99 shopping bag!!(Yes I have visited London in the last year so I know my M&S bags ;0))
Logic 3-Take a look at the Official Wii console bag- many may argue that there's not enough space for 4 remotes/4 this or that, but design is fantastic, solid, sturdy, protects the console & capable of taking the odd knock or two- just like most decent laptop bags do.
Your Product is NOT.
